“W-what are you doing Scarlett?” I stuttered as she stormed to me.

“What am I doing? Aren’t I supposed to be asking you that question?" She asked through gritted teeth.

“What do you mean?”

She stopped in front of me, flipping the knife over her fingers without falling it. “You, Jane, you promised me not to bother and that Keegan would be mine. You assured me that nothing was going on between both of you, but guess who is now his mate? Not me, no, you are!” She pointed the knife at me with hurt and rage flashing in her blue eyes.

I flinched back from her with my hands lifted. “Can you at least drop the knife?”

“The knife changes nothing, I just want to talk. How can I possibly kill you? I'm not a terrible person like you. I just need to let you know that you’re the worst friend ever and you betrayed me.

Why would Jane go to the graduation without security? This makes no sense with them supposedly worried about her security. And, especially with her as Luna. I would expect Gamma Mason, since he is Mae's brother-in-law and Casper from Security, since he told Mae that he would go. pending disaster
