“So Mae has been working here without a complete degree, isn’t that unfair?” Keegan said while typing away on his laptop.

“What do you mean?”

“She’s just graduating, duh, so she hasn’t received her graduation certificate yet.”

I chuckled and made my hair into two French braids and wore two gold earrings that were going to match my necklace and blue knee-length dress.

“Will you be returning today?” He asked, still not taking his gaze off his laptop.

“Today?” I huffed. “When we went for Scarlett's parent’s wedding anniversary party, was the entire time spent traveling back and forth a day?” I folded my arms across my chest.

He only chuckled and still didn’t raise his head. I wanted to know what he thought of my appearance but didn’t want to sound too desperate this time.

“If there’s one thing I’m excited about, it’s that Vladimir is returning to his pack and not trying to make my life a mess as always.”
