I couldn’t believe I was doing this and meeting the moron again, but here I was waiting for Stefan, my long-gone mate.

He walked out of a corner and stopped in front of me, maintaining a bold stance. His stubble was perfectly trimmed and his hair, as styled as ever. He never missed a chance to try to show off his good looks but I cared less about that today.

“So what do you want that you had to call for my assistance?” He asked, his cold yet mocking demeanor made me have mixed feelings about him again.

“Jane. I know you’ve finally found out about her.” I tucked my hand into my coat pockets, slipping out Jane’s picture from my pocket and handed it over to him.

“What do I do with her?”

“Don’t try to play dumb here. I’m the best person that can be of help to you. Why do you need her? I know how much you’ve been trying to find her after obviously knowing about her gifts.”
