“What do you think?” Matt asked still looking away. He was expecting her to giggle. There was no response from her. Matt thought she was angry. He wouldn’t want to annoy his helper, he quickly looked at her to tender apology but he was met with a smiling face. She was a teaser.
“When have you been living out here?” Matt felt the place was like her home. She had freshen up when he was asleep. She smelled nice and was dressed up. She couldn’t be so comfortable if she hadn’t made it a home.“Few weeks ago. Alone” she looked downward. She was shy. It was like she was in control few minutes ago. Now, she had come back to shyness. He ignored that.“Why are you helping me?” Matt asked her carelessly. She frowned and stood up, went into the tent. What the hell is this. He had not say anything bad. She was just getting angry over a harmless question, Matt was surprised by this. He followed her into the tent. She had seated on the bed.“I didn’t mean to annoy you, Angela. I’m sorry” Matt apologised. That was not enough to make someone angry but they had just met. They were strangers to each other.“My father always give me everything I wanted and I was always happy” She said sadly. Of course, everyone knew how much her father pampered her. That’s no news.“But there is something he couldn’t give me, because I am his daughter. I dare not ask him” she went on. There was nothing her father wouldn’t give her, that was what everybody including Matt, believed not as she was saying otherwise right now. What could that be that her father couldn’t give her, that she couldn’t ask of. Matt couldn’t come up with any reasonable thing.“When our people were brutally killed near Doyles, my father caught some of those responsible for it. That was when we knew all what Dylan was doing in your pack. They revealed to us you were being framed for it. Some came and attacked us to free them. I escaped but my father couldn’t make it” Angela sobbed.“I’m sorry” Matt consoled her. She must be feeling really bad. The same way he felt when he received the news of his father’s death.“Since then I’ve been out here alone. That was when it struck me this might be an opportunity to get what I have always craved” she wiped her tears. “You are what I wanted that my father couldn’t give. All I get of you is staring at you from afar. Our packs are sworn enemies. It was hard” she sobbed again.Matt went deep in thought, searched his mind if he knew why their packs had been at war. He didn’t know. He had never be in love before. Now he he had an admirer, someone dying just to be with him. It felt like dream once again. Few hours ago, he had relinquished all hope of continue living. He sat down close beside her. He threw his hand around her. They gazed at each other straight in the eyes.“Now, here I am within your reach” he smiled at her, “no more staring from afar”Angela rested her head on her shoulder and squeezed his lap. Matt raised up her head and kissed her. She breathed heavily. He kissed her again. She rose up quickly and knelt on the bed. Matt also knelt on the bed. They kissed again and it became more intense. Matt rained kisses on every part of her faces. She raised up both hands and he removed her shirt furiously. They went back to their kissing spree. She was reluctant and pushed Matt chest. He paused.“I want you to turn” she said seriously. Matt hissed at her request. Even if she didn’t ask,he would turn anyway.“As your ladyship pleases” Matt smiled and took a deep breath. Long hair grew out of his body and his face changed gradually until it turned to a wolf's head. Angela was happy, she laughed loudly. Matt lifted her up and threw her on her over the bed. They had sex. Both of them enjoyed it.Matt traced his finger on her arms. She had slept after the romp. She opened her eyes slightly and smiled. She crawled her head into Matt's arm and went back to sleep. She was obviously very happy. She was indeed beautiful. He held her head and kissed her forehead.
Matt had never had feelings for anyone since the day he knew himself. He didn't hold special caring for anybody and that had never bothered him. His father used to say that would change whenever he found his mate.
He surely wasn't talking of a mate outside their pack. But now, everything had changed. Even there is no more home. Nowhere for him to go back to. She also had nowhere else except this tent.
They were couple now. Matt looked at the tent and sighed. They wood need a new home and that must be very far away from here. Far from Dylan, if they wanted to continue living happily.
"What are you thinking that is disturbing your heart like this?" Angela asked with her head still buried in his chest.
"I thought you are sleeping" Matt played with her hair. She had quite a romantic scalp. He kept putting her hair in his cupped hand and putting it to his nose like he was sniffing it.
"I can't sleep with your heart beating like this" she threw her head back to look into his eyes. She cowered back immediately their eyes met.
She was shy! Matt forced himself not to grin.
"Maybe I should just turn my back. I guess there is no heartbeat in the back?" he tried turning over his side.
"No!" she said sharply. "Just reveal why your heart is pounding. Or do you also have a lot of things you couldn't talk about?" she dragged him back from turning.
"Who was the other who has a lot he couldn't talk about?" he turned back to face her. She might be talking about her previous mates.
"Lopez. He always thought of something he couldn't talk about" she steered away from him. "You couldn't talk about yours too?"
"I thought Lopez was your father" Matt was lost. He was a little bit confused.
"And I didn't say he wasn't" she responded with a little bit of confusion too. She must have wondered why Matt asked that.
"I'm sorry. I think I am lost in thought" he had been mixing what he was thinking with what she said.
"And that's the thought I was asking you about" she sat up.
"I am just thinking we....I mean...I....we need a home rather than this tent" he stuttered. He was unsure what her reaction would be.
"Hmmm. Isn't that too fast to worry about it right now?" she chuckled.
"I'm sorry. I thought, I felt like I had nothing else to do in this life than living with you away from all the rigors of this life" he sat beside her.
"And who says I didn't want that?" he rested her head on his shoulder. "No city, we are not moving into a city where the woods will be miles away" she made her request.
"Of course!" Matt exclaimed happily. He wasn't find of city himself. No werewolves like them would want to be far away from the woods.
Three months later. Matt dressed up in some security outfits. He came out into the living room where Angela was standing, probably waiting for him."I'm off" he smiled and kissed her. He headed outwards."You forgot it again. It has been over two months and you still don't get used to it" Angela yelled and shook her head pitifully."Oh, I will never get used to it. I guessed I am not a violent person" he groaned and rushed back to fetch his baton. He hanged it at a side of his pants."Fully dressed" he stood straight in front of her and sighed. Angela lifted her cheeks slightly waiting for another kiss."Again?" he asked indefinitely."You went back inside her" she got a kiss again.Matt stumbled outside into the street of Greenford. They came here like three months ago and he had been working as a security at Jane's Mall downtown. This is a country side filled with normal human. They had to hide and manage what the
Sergetti put his hand on the table. He closed his eyes and muttered some words. He lifted up his hand from the table and flames continued to rise under his hand. He continued mumbling and the flames became wilder.Just then, the flame was out. He opened his eyes instantly and looked around. He felt someone was in there with him.He grabbed his wand and pointed it into a direction. A man floated in the direction and walked on air towards him."Haynes!" he exclaimed surprisingly."Sergetti. I see you are creating your own world" he spoke stylishly with a smiling face. "Of flames" he quickly added."What do you want?" Sergetti asked angrily. Haynes was not a good person that should be paying someone visit. His name spelled trouble."What do you mean? I can't pay my friends a visit?" he went behind Sergetti. He bent to say something into his ear."Get off my back" Sergetti brushed him off hi
Chapter 9Matt rushed home. Though, he didn't have any idea of what he was going to do. He was just following his instincts."Matt! Matt!!" someone called out from behind him when he was about opening the door. It was Prince. He was very sure of that. This was not the time to joke if he had come for the picnic he used to whine about. The problem at hand was of high magnitude."Matt!!" he screamed again before Mayt could conclude whether to answer him or not."Please, can you just come back. I'm in the middle of the most important thing inmy life" Matt shouted angrily with his hand on the doorknob. He had become infuriated. Angela was the most important thing in her life."Wait a minute. It is something very important and I guessed it is one of the most important things in your life" Prince gasped breathlessly. He had been running.Matt looked at him. He just couldn't take him serious. Prince had never stricken him as someo
"I see you have changed from the last minute comer to the early comer, my little Prince" Sergetti said as he came out to join Matt and Prince in his living room.Matt was afraid just setting eyes on him. He felt he would easily discover who he was and there would be nothing to repel whatever he threw at him.Prince had already told him there was no transforming into a werewolf in his house. It wouldn't work."I bow before the great wizard" Prince greeted his brother with a bow. Sergetti waved to him to stand straight."Why don't you sit your ass down on one of these comfy sofa?" Sergetti laughed as he showed them their seats. Someone would know how heartless of a person he was by his laughter. It was tasteless and not contagious."And who is the rookie with you?" he directed his gaze at Matt. Matt breathed heavily."I brought you a student. He had been on my neck for some time. As you now expect the Lost Wand to be in your possession in few
Angela woke up in the magical invisible box. She yawned and rubbed her face with her hand. She was just remembering where she was. She had slept off and had forgotten. She started pushing and slamming the wall which she didn't see."Somebody help!" he yelled on top of her voice. Someone could hear and come to her rescue."No one is going to hear you" she heard a voice behind her. She turned quickly. There was a lady stuck the same way she was.Angela was surprised to see her. She didn't know someone was there until now."No one will hear. I screamed and almost lost my voice" the lady said again.Angela noticed the lady wasn't a wereolf like her and Sergetti told Angela he kidnapped herbecause she was a werewolf."He kidnapped you too?" Angela asked her. If she wasn't a werewolf, then he wouldn't have kidnapped her."Yes, I am from Crater Valley. This is how this man has been kidnapping us from sometimes ago. He used to se
Matt met Prince in the living room. He held him by the collar and dragged him to a corner."I have found the key" he checked behind them if anyone was coming."That's an awful way to celebrate your success. The neck is a very delicate place even for a wizard" Prince readjusted his shirt."Are you even listening to me?" Matt was disappointed by his response. He was talking about something very serious and he was ranting about some irrelevance."I heard you well, you said you have the key. Where is it?" Prince extended his hand to take the key from him"We are going to need to kill your brother to get it. This key only leaves my neck when I'm dead" he mimicked Sergetti."So you don't have the key yet?" Prince seemed confused. He must have thought everything was already in place."He said he have to die before we could get the key" he said remorsefully. He had no clue on what they should do."Did you tel
"I see you are having quite a party here but don't worry I couldn't share with you" Haynes' voice said. Matt and Prince were still looking desperately in all directions searching for the speaker.Matt was surprised Prince was also searching like him while Sergetti obviously saw who is speaking. Maybe he was not a wizard but thought himself a wizard."Show yourself. You are scaring someone you shouldn't be scaring" Sergetti warned him.Haynes appeared floating beside Sergetti. Matt gasped seeing him. He had always heard about wizard but he never had any contact with them until he came to Greenford."I see you have caught the omega. Her scent was so strong, I could pick it up even from here." Haynes inhaled the air around him. He was sniffing for the scent he was picking."Are you sure you are picking scent or your nose is burning?" Sergetti sniffed around too but it seemed he didn't smell anything."Where is she? Let me take a look and be cal
Matt kept looking into all the rooms as they walked along the hallway. There were lot of rooms in this goddamn house. Prince was farther ahead. It seemed he knew where he was going.Matt caught up with him."The prison is at the end of the corner" he pointed down the hallway. Matt rushed in the direction. He was not sure if this was the place they were headed. The door was opened. Not locked as he expected.Whatever! He went inside the room. He saw Angela sitting on the bare floor."Angela" he gladly ran towards her. He crashed into the invisible wall and fell on his back."No" Angela screamed to stop him but it was too late. She stretched her hand towards him but she couldn't reach him."Don't worry, you will be okay" he stood up and was checking the invisible wall. It was unbelievable. He could see his wife and hear her like this within the distance of a yard and he couldn't touch her.He checked where he could see something like a
