Chapter 21

Five years ago, a month after Charles and Sam first met.

Charles passed by the university where Sam was studying after he attended a client meeting nearby. He could not understand himself, as if there was a magnetic force that was pulling him to drive here. He parked near the entrance looking at the students walking out the large gate.

‘What was I doing here?’ He thought to himself. After that night when he first saw Sam, he could not forget her beautiful face. He always wanted to see her again. He would park his car in the bus stop where he sent her off for no reason and he even went to the university where she was studying. But he never had the chance to see her even once. He believed that it was impossible for him to see Sam this time as well.

Charles was about to leave when he saw a familiar figure. He stared at Sam who was walkin
