Chapter 37

I just shook my head and sighed, "Is she ever going to come up with something more original?" Aidinth laughed, "She's not going to have time to come up with anything else. She's not getting out of this at all." Apparently, she heard us, because she screamed in frustration while trying to shake off her guards. I said, "It's amazing what kind of fool women will make themselves look like just for a title." Aidinth kissed me and said, "That's why I love you. You could care less about the title. You are the perfect Princess without even trying. You're just being you." I smiled, "I know you're saying that for her benefit, but thank you." He said, "I'm not lying or being overly dramatic. I meant every word." I smiled and said, "Let's go ahead and get in there." 

One of the court guards guided us to the prosecution side of the room and had us sit in the second row. They positioned our guards in front of us, behind us, and on either side of us. I really liked this set-up. I'm fa
