Chapter 55
As we waved goodbye to King Uther and Queen Chumani, I could see Queen Chumani wipe a tear from her eyes. I'm going to miss that sweet woman. I have grown to love her like the mother I lost so many years ago. But we are not going too far away, and we will be back at least three days a week for work. We just really needed a space of our own. I did invite them up for dinner this weekend. Maybe that will take some of the sting away. When Aidinth and I got to the paint store, I had several colors of paint that I needed mixed, so we told the clerk what we wanted, and I started looking at supplies.
