Chapter Forty Nine
"No more hiding" Fabrico tells me when I step out. The flashes haven't stopped. They'd be we stop. As long as I and Fabrico are together, there would always be flashes. I hook my hand with his bowed arms as we step on the red carpet.
"It's not so bad like I thought" I whisper to him and he grins before kissing the tip of my nose. More questions, flashes and howls are head and I try to suppress my smile as well as my anxiousness.
Looking behind me to see if Leon has gotten down, I see him talking with no other than Rose Hilliard. She has one a pretty golden gown that shone like a thousand stars, her blonde hair is tangled up in a tight bun and I look away.

I wake up with the other side of the bed empty. Sizzle my way out of the sheets and to the bathroom. My eyes wander all over my skin at all the red marks on me. In a room with five police men and a man in suit which I'm guessing is Fabricos lawyer, I try not to fumble with words if I'm asked a question. Standing by the corner as Fabrico and his lawyer chats away about the situation on ground, I look toward my right to see Karen taking notes of everything happening. Her job must be really boring, taking notes all the time."Selene!" Fabrico calls for me and I walk to them, my arms folded. "I'd prefer you here with me" he says.
