Chapter Twenty Three

I shrug off Fabricos coat, dropping it on the white comforter, by the fire. Stripping my shoes off and relaxed on the chair. Don't know how long it's going to take for Fabrico to get in here but I really want to have a moment to myself right now and think.

I snuggle on the couch with my bare feet and my expensive gown on. The light in the fireplace distracted me for some few seconds until my phone buzzed and I saw Kay's name flash on the screen. She does know the right...wrong time to call.

"Hey, what's up!"

"Someone would murder you, grind you and send your remains to us and we still wouldn't even know, that's because you don't call us" Kay nagged on the phone. I assumed her with her hands on her hips or, she's pacing around with a cup in her hand.

"I was just too busy"

"Busy huh?...you went to relax and you tell me you're busy? You should be free all the godamn time"
