Susan O’Brien and Roland Keller had reached the building where Muhammad Afzal Behrouz and Naseer Abdel Ali lived and looked for the janitor.

“We come for the young Muslims who live in this building,” Keller said, showing his identification to the man, “Behrouz and Ali. As you may already know, they were kidnapped.”

“Yes, I remember them,” said the man in a lamenting tone. “Good guys, and I don’t agree with what they’re doing with them. Not all Muslims are bad.”

“I wish they all thought like you,” O’Brien said. “We want to check their apartment.”
