Richard, Rebecca and Amira drove to the party. The party was taking place in Ali's home. It was a 2 storey building made up of white and brown bricks, and it was surrounded by a thick fence. Close to the fence, were short flowers planted in rows. Richard was so amazed by how big the building was.
"Is this really where Ali is living?" Richard asked surprisingly.
"Yes of course, have you forgotten when I told you that his father is the richest man in this town?" Rebecca asked.
"I thought you were kidding," Richard replied. "That's why I like him, he will never show you that he is from a rich family," Rebecca explained.
"That's why you like him?" Richard retorted. "Stop interpreting me with something else, I don't mean in a romantic way," she laughed. "What if she does like him in a romantic way?" Amira asked.
"Well, then I will say he is the luckiest man in the planet," Richard said.

Richard went to his dormitory and discovered that it had run out of power. Even though he had not eaten since in the afternoon, he wasn't on his right mind to feel hungry. In the night around 8 pm, Richard gathered all his clothes and put them in his travelling bag. He hurriedly walked out of the room so that his roommates won't meet him. He walked to a cab close to his dormitory and boarded it. "Where should I take you?" The can driver asked after he started the engine of the car. Richard remained quiet for a moment, because he hadn't come up with a place to go. "Excuse Mister, are you with me?" The cab driver asked noticing Richard's silence. Throughout their journey in the night, Richard couldn't sleep. He kept thinking about Janet and regretted everything he had done. "How is he doing?" Asked deep male voice. "He is doing better," replied another female voice. "You should inform me when he wakes up," the man instructed. "Alright sir," replied the woman. Richard heard the footsteps of the man walking away. He thought everything was a dream. His eyes were heavier than ever. But at last, he finally opened them. He found himself lying on a small sick bed with an intravenous drip attached to his hand. He felt the intensity of the pain in his lower right abdomen that he couldn't even move properly.He looked around and he discovered that he was in a hospital. About a week later, Richard was finally getting discharge from the hospital. He woke up the next morning think about how he could persuade the women on staying. About 2 months later, Richard has gotten much better and Mama Ruth had worked really hard to get him a work in a poultry farm a cleaner. He usually sleeps with the eldest son of the family and one of the twins in the living room. The eldest usually comes home very late at night after everyone had slept. It had been five years since Richard left home. Things were working out for him so well in the poultry farm. The owner of the poultry farm trusted Richard so much that she put him to be in charge of supplying food. Somehow, she new Richard was different all the workers she had employed before. She had been studying medicine and surgery for the past 3 years. it was a very special day, because it was the begging of a new session for her as a 400 level student.
