“We’re here.” Dylan said as he killed the engine of the car.He turned to see Reyna fast asleep beside him. Her head that rested on the car seat was almost at the edge. “Is Reyna home yet?” Niko asked as he entered the house.Going to the office everyday, and coming back to meet Alan seated in front of the television or pressing his iPod was the best view. It made him look like a father, something he wasn’t ready for and at the same time ready for. “Good morning.” Niko greeted as he walked inside the house.There was no one to give him reply, making him yawn out and drop his suitcase on the chair. The night meeting had taken him to midnight and he could not risk driving back home since he was so tired. He slept in the hotel that they did the meeting and woke up late this morning to start coming home.“Is anyone in this house?” He yelled out again.But still there was no reply. “So after all the banging and waking us up, there’s no single food that we can eat in this house?” Niko asked as he got downstairs.“I was actually waiting for you to come and help us with that, and since you’re here. His hand clenched the paper in his hands with a surge of victory, and also a nostalgic sense of foreboding washing over him.
