Chapter 7: The Preparations

Why does Bram seem to hate me a lot?

People in my pack rarely see me in my wolf form. I didn’t mind, I also wanted to show him that part of me but he treated me like I was some wind chime with no hanger.

I know I am yet to do enough but why can't he just look at me with those gold eyes which emanate want and love. All my years on earth Bram has the softest ass, the slimmest hair and the most delicious delactable plush pink lips have ever had the honour to taste. 

He deserves all the things l want to do for him.

Tomorrow is the very wedding day I have been waiting for. How sweet. What will it be like when Bram falls asleep in my arms like a baby? l want to take care of him all my life.

l don't know how excited l can feel more than this.

Marking Bram tomorrow will be a dream come to reality, him falling asleep from exhaustion, telling me not to ever pull out of him will be the end of me. l want to see the lust in his eyes when he looks at me. I want to be the only thing he wants to see. l don't ever want him to have thoughts of wanting his mate. l want to forever be in his eyes and he will forever be in mine.

The feeling of waking up to see him worshipping me and caring for me like he was born to do it. The feeling of him beautifully curtsying his way, asking me to have breakfast with him or the day when he walks naked In front of me begging us to go for a run in our wolf form. I want him to give me the right to own him.

They say Alphas and Omegas are the most compatible. Bram isn't just an omega, he is the type that hasn't been born in a hundred and fifty years with no premonition when one will be born again. Everything about him is special, the way he talks and frowns makes me the happiest living thing on earth.

My eyes are teary from the tingling feeling controlling my body. All l could think about was Bram! I wanted him to hang in there for just one more night. One more night and we will be happy together. The love of my life, the days that you've pushed me away will be over soon.

Since l returned from Bram's house l have been like this on the bed in my executive suite, lying here asleep but fully awake.

Bram had me running lapses.

Firstly, he fainted which l know he is getting weaker from the poison. l'm currently doing everything possible to find that old man who gave me that poison, he is likely to have the antidote.

I thought that his father would be able to take care of him. Taking his wolf out for a run is doing his wolf more harm than good. All he needs is to rest more and stay healthy but that stubborn missing rib of mine won't even have a proper breakfast.

It was a good thing that Maya reached out to me on time. Nothing l do pleases him, l think l went too far by slapping him. I shouldn't have shown him that side of me yet, l hope he doesn't get scared of me. But I did a good thing because at the end he ate his food and I’m sure he had slept so well. Tomorrow is the 10th day and the poison of the Enticing Flames will reoccur.

I will do everything possible to make him accept me and want me.

 "Alpha, your father is here to see you.”

"I will meet him downstairs."

"Yes, Alpha."

My father must be here because he is excited for tomorrow. I stood up and looked at the mirror, seeing how obviously stressed I looked.

“Son, how do you feel?” He is enthusiastic, pouring himself a glass of whiskey, “You can't wait until tomorrow, right? See, let me tell you something. Back then when l wanted to marry your mother, she was the most beautiful damsel in our pack and goddess blessed me when l realize on my coming of age that she was my mate. l became the happiest and proudest Werewolf and on our wedding night l could bet on my chest that; that was the day you were made because there was so much love in the air. Our pheromones filled the environment, even wolves 100km away from us probably went feral from wanting to mate because of our lust.”

I chuckle, imagining if my wedding night with Bram will be this remarkable. 

“So what am l trying to say? I want you to make the best out of your wedding night. This boy you are bringing home is a rare breed and l can see how far you've gone for him. He is such a lucky and lovable young man. I know you made the right choice in choosing him and he made the best decision to accept you. l'm very happy son, cheer for the big day, tomorrow. I have already made a week's reservation at De'Castle for our VIPs.”

“I just want everything to go well tomorrow, especially with Bram.”

“Is everything good with my son-in-law?"

"Father please don't make me laugh, do you just feel worried for him? So to speak he is very perfect, you should know I can't stay alive to see anything go wrong with him."

"I understand you, son but I'm easy on the strong languages. No one is dying, it is okay to express your feelings for him however way you feel. You are the Alpha and your duty, safety and the wellbeing of your Pack come first before your other half. You know l didn't say much when you willingly merged our pack with theirs because I believe you know what you are doing,” My father shares his thoughts, tapping his finger on the glass, “One thing Alpha Richard doesn't understand is that you have automatically become the Head Alpha of both Pack."

"Father, you are in high spirits today or maybe because you know me so well.”

"Of course son, I know what you’re thinking all the time and I wish your mother was here to see you grow up.”

"Mother is resting well wherever she is and of course, Alpha Richard isn't that smart to know that l can wake up and choose not to see him alive again. I will make him return to dust where he came from. After all, he is one of those hurting my Bram.''

"Calm your horses, that doesn't stop him from being Bram's father. You haven't claimed him yet but you want to kill everyone around him already."

"Whatever you say, father,” My conversations with my father will always go on and on especially when he is this hyped. l can't even focus because my head is so full and l want Bram to get lost in words when he sees 

how beautiful and elegant everything is set to be.

I want him to like everything I have prepared for him and reward accordingly.

"You know son, l promised l was going to get a gift for you and one of them has arrived. l can't wait for you to see it, you will bet l give the most considerable gifts."

"Anything you say, father. I'm delighted already."

"The Alpha of Bloodshot Pack of Japan Central personally made the gift and it was limited. Are you excited to know what it is?”

"You give the best gift, father."

"I knew you would say that son, that is why l invested a lot in the gold bathtub made specifically for a minimum amount of two people. It is zero toxic and it comes with a dispensable passage of lavender blossom which is also a non-toxic flower but has the sweetest smell in the world. It will be installed in you and Bram's room tomorrow morning so you both can have your bath together, you know what l mean?" He said teasingly, winking at me.

l rolled my eyes at my father’s words, he conserved with me like we were friends in our past Life, “You’re indeed thoughtful, father. I’m sure Bram will be happy about it.”

"I know he is a naughty boy, surely he will like it,” He sips his whiskey, enjoying himself when Adrian arrives.

"Father, if you will excuse me I have some unattended matters. l have to make sure everything is in place for tomorrow and l will be heading to meet with Alpha Richard in a few hours to make sure nothing can go wrong tomorrow."

"Take your time son and don't get too stressed about it, he is already yours. You are just waiting for the ritual rites and the legal privileges."

I smiled at his words as I went on my steps heading in the direction of my suites.

 "Alpha?” My beta gets my attention.

"Uh?”

"Your father is right, there is nothing to get worked up about," Adrian said.

I tilt my head to the side to look at him more closely wondering when I gave such an impression, “Did l mention to you that l'm stressed over anything?''

"No, Alpha."

"So where did that come from?"

"I only spoke out of turn, Alpha. As your Beta l have every right to worry for you besides everything is already under control."

I shook my head and continued on my tracks. The sooner everyone knows this myth thing doesn’t work on me the better for everyone.

"Any words from Maya?"

"Yes, Alpha. I quote, Omega Bram hasn't complied on the to-do list, he said he is not interested in you or in you knowing what he likes. He said that he will be happy to let you know he doesn't want to marry you."

"That is it?''

"Yes Alpha, that is it.”

I let out a long loud laugh at how cute my better half is. No one is as cute as him, he is a teaser and he is good at it.

"Alpha?” Adrian immediately gets on his knees.

I turned my head in his direction, raising an eyebrow at him.

"Don't you think this isn't right, Alpha?”

"How do you mean Adrian?"

"All this, getting married to Omega Bram even though you know he is not your fated mate."

"What is right or wrong, Adrian?"

"Alpha, with all due respect you are already in a place to differentiate both."

"After my father, you have known me the longest and it disappoints me that l thought you believed and trusted in me as your Alpha."

"The moon goddess should cease my breath if l don't trust you, Alpha. l have always believed in you and l will always do."

"Then you should understand that Bram completes me. l make him happy and he makes me happy, we are happy together and no one is going to hurt or torment him again."

"If you feel bad for Omega Bram, you can go ahead and help him, Alpha  but claiming him when you know truly well that he isn't your fated mate is inappropriate. Have you considered him and his own mate? Alpha, the mate bond is one of the strongest curses that comes with a blessing. I have learned to realize in my life that you can't just wake up and break it into pieces. You have already gone far by poisoning him, have you thought about how your mate will feel rejected too?”

"Adrian, for the last time before l lose my patience with you, don’t ever mention Bram's mate in front of me again. Whosoever is this mate of his won't live to tell the tale if l ever find out about him. And you are not in any place to run me through about mythology, l'm not even surprised that a close-minded overgrown dog like you will ever understand that having the freedom to choose or make choices is a flex anyone should pray to have. Our forefathers have been on this line of thought and beliefs for thousands of years and your so-called myths are slowly losing their value because everyone has the right to make a choice. And also if you are worried about my mate he or she should wait for me after reincarnation. Now take me to the People's Pack and let me see my father-in-law,” I firmly spoke my mind, walking to the car.

I exchanged a handshake with Alpha Richard as soon as I arrived at his Pack, “Good day, Alpha Richard.”

“It's so nice to see you, Alpha Knight, welcome.”

“Thank you,” I looked around, taking in how the preparations are being carried out and how everyone is busy doing something.

“It pleases me to see a busy man like yourself take out time to come here and see how things are moving forward. I should say my son is a rare kid and also very lucky to have you, Alpha Knight.”

"You flatter me, l'm only doing what I am supposed to do. Bram brings happiness to my soul and it's best l treat him right."

"That is a very nice thing to say, Alpha Knight. l feel at ease knowing my son is loved and he is at peace. Everyone always thought nothing good will come from him."

"Here are the documents, take your time and read through them,” I passed the document to him, “And l would like to ask you for a favour?"

"Anything, Alpha Knight."

"Bram indeed doesn't have many things that interest him, right? I have some items l would like to garnish to his taste but l'm having a hard time getting what he likes from him."

"Ah, my greatest apologies, Alpha. My son is quite naive and ignorant, he probably doesn't understand what you mean. I will have the guards bring him here so he can provide you with that information."

"No that won't be necessary, Alpha. Bram doesn't need to know l was here too."

"I understand that you are a gentleman Alpha, l will make sure Bram provides the list for you. He probably doesn't know it for his own good."

"That will be all, Alpha.”

"You should call me father from now on, Knight. Since you are here, let me show you around. l know you are excited to see how the downright plans are taking place."

"Yes, please!” I’m excited about this part, “One of the reasons why l’m here.”

"Come this way and oh before l forget, you are very considerate and a consistent lover. The moon goddess has blessed you as one of its kind because the dress you choose for your bride fit him so well. The colour is beautiful and it makes him look like a fairy. It gave me goosebumps just looking at him.”

"Oh, Bram already tried on his wedding dress?” I couldn’t hide my excitement, I couldn’t imagine how breathtaking he looked.

"Gladys got back two days ago to help with the wedding preparations.”

“Oh, that is thoughtful of her. Indeed it will be a big day tomorrow.

"You can say that again, son. What do you think about the decoration ideas?"

"I think everything is good as far as Bram likes it."

"Surely he does."

When I was done supervising, I turned to my Beta, “Adrian reschedules the departure time for tomorrow. We leave two hours ahead, I don't want to keep Bram waiting."

"Yes, Alpha."
