I met the vampires after being attacked by a vampiric wolf. He thought it was okay to bite me so he left his mark on my neck. But I didn't want it or the vamps. And because of me being a virgin, they can't take advantage of me. So now that there are two Alphas who are interested in me, the other Alpha, the vampire, doesn't stand a chance. But it's not like I've ever wanted any more than him.

So tonight we're going to the club to get drunk. The owner, the werewolf, knows all about us and the rules. We have to behave ourselves, drink responsibly and no funny business.

We'll get to do whatever we want as long as no one gets hurt. But before you ask why, the owner says that when a vampire finds someone attractive enough, he has to give them sex. Well if he thinks that way then he's an idiot. As far as I'm concerned, if I see him again I won't even try to look at him. He should just leave me alone.

After all, it's better to be safe than sorry.

It's been three months since I was turned into a werewolf. Every time I see Vampires, they' re always around the werewolf. And they're not shy about showing their interest. They come close to taking me right outside but I run away screaming before they can do anything. And every time my friends ask me what happened, they say it's nothing. But I'm afraid they don't believe me.

Tonight, the owner gave us the whole night off from all our duties, which means we can finally party a little. We go to the club and the place is filled with people dancing with each other, drinking, smoking marijuana, making out... It makes my stomach churn when I think about that stuff. Everyone seems so happy except me. My parents will never believe that I'm really a vampire. The only ones who are truly happy around me are those Alphas who want to make me theirs. The ones who actually like me. But none of them want to marry me. The worst part of this isn't that. The most difficult part is that they don't want to have me as a mate. They still see me as a human girl.

And so many things go through my mind while watching everyone having fun. I wish I could feel like I belong somewhere instead of feeling out of place, unwanted. That I would rather feel the cold wind against my face than feel the heavy pressure that surrounds me. I hate how everything seems to be perfect, how the people seem perfectly contented but I am anything but. I am broken inside.

I wish I had some kind of power to end this torture. To end myself. But I can't. All I can do is hide in my room, hoping that one day these problems will solve themselves. I keep wishing that they will disappear. But they never do. I hate living in fear of something I have no control over. But I can't change it anymore.

After leaving the club we walk back to my house and wait until we hear my mother tell us she's done for the day. Tonight was supposed to be about having fun. Not hiding and waiting for death to strike.

"Are you sure you don't want us to stay?" Kiki asked me when we got home.

"You guys go ahead, I need to lie down," I told her honestly. She nodded and left without another word.

Once she left, I laid down on my bed with my head pillowed by a pillow and closed my eyes. I was exhausted from everything that has happened today. I haven't eaten, haven't slept for four days straight. My body was shaking slightly from all the pain I felt from the past few hours. And I couldn't stop shivering as I lay under the covers."Hm..? Is somebody home?" a quiet voice said.

The sound made me open my eyes, which were already red due to the tears that were rolling silently down my cheeks. I heard footsteps on the stairs and my heart almost stopped when I saw a figure standing in front of me. His eyes stared straight into mine. And in that second my heart dropped to the floor and my breathing became very shallow.

I opened my eyes slowly. The lights in my room blinded me temporarily. My whole body was numb and I felt light headed. Everything seemed blurry. Even though I knew who it was. I was afraid to move. If I moved he might just go away. But he stayed, his eyes boring deeply into mine.

"What's wrong, darling?"

His deep velvety voice brought back flashbacks to last night. I tried to move away from him but I was pushed back onto the mattress. The pain that came from my shoulder was so real I screamed.

"Shhhh...it's fine..." the soft voice told me. "Just relax."

The pain slowly started fading and the burning of the wound eased up until all the pain disappeared completely. The throbbing sensation in my shoulder was replaced by something else entirely. Something that made me feel alive. Something that made me forget I ever had the problem.
