Chapter 7

Have Aunt Lerina Keep me company

Lerina can now breathe a sigh of relief after the departure of the young master and his boss. Even though it was a little forced in the end, the boy also wanted to be taken home, and even then, on one condition, he had to come to the office tomorrow.

Han had no other choice and was forced to agree.

Lerina cooks instant noodles for dinner. He was hungry earlier but held back until the father and son came home. As for cooking, it takes a long time, and the stomach is asking to be filled.

Lerina had finished her night's work and was about to sleep. He always manages his time so that his body is always fit for activities when he wakes up in the morning.

Outside the apartment building, two people are staring at the lighted windows: Selena Smith and her best friend, Manda. They are in the car.

He was looking for information about Lerina, the cousin he hated the most. Selena didn't expect this woman to become a Zoku Group secretary. It turned out that they had spent these six years without knowing about Lerina's condition.

They thought she wouldn't be able to survive without money, a place to live, and a family, but apparently, yesterday's meeting was enough to explain that Lerina was fine.

Not only that. Selena also received information that Lerina owns the apartment she is living in now; even though it's not a luxury apartment, the price isn't cheap either. In addition, it turns out that Lerina is a graduate of the best campus in this city.

Selena couldn't believe this; she couldn't accept it. He hated it when the girl lived a better life. He wouldn't be happy if Lerina lived happily.

"It's possible that he sold himself during this time!" Manda, who was beside Selena, said.

"You're right, Manda. This is really impossible. Heh, why didn't I think of it that way. You slut!" Selena stared. That could be what Manda said. Where else would Lerina have the money? He has been working for the past six years and has not been able to save up to buy an apartment and go to college.

It's been confirmed that Lerina sold herself for it all.

"What do you want to do next, Selena?" Manda wanted to know about her friend's plan.

"Hurt him, what else?" Selena shrugged her shoulders.

"You are crazy Selena!" Manda cursed.

Ha ha ha! "I'm crazy if he's okay, Manda!". They both laughed.

They also left the place. Selena will complain about this to her father. According to him, Lerina does not deserve to live well like now.

Lerina couldn't close her eyes yet, always thinking about Sean. Then she burst into tears. Lerina imagined that if her son were with her, it would be Sean's age now.

Lerina suddenly missed the figure she had never seen, who had inhabited her womb for more than nine months. Lerina got up; she opened a drawer in the cupboard; she kept something there. She sat back down and looked at the ultrasound photo of her son, which she had stolen secretly, until Lerina fell asleep hugging the ultrasound photo.

In the morning, as usual, Lerina left using public transportation. To save expenses, you must take a taxi if you come home from work because the carrier only lasts until noon.

Just arrived at the lobby, a scream calling his name was heard clearly. Lerina certainly knew who the owner of that voice was.

"Auntie, wait for me!" screamed those tiny lips; who else, if not the adorable Young Master Zoku? He was running towards Lerina.

Lerina, who had turned her body to see Sean, couldn't stand seeing that; she felt like she wanted to kiss Sean's red lips.

Sean took her hand, and they walked inside together. Sean left his father behind.

Sean didn't move from Lerina's place, even though Daddy and Grandpa Peng had entered his room.

"Have you found Uncle?" Han Zoku orders Peng to find out Lerina's background.

He should know, considering his son is very comfortable with that woman. He must be alert.

Uncle Peng took something out of his suit pocket and placed it on the table.

Han Zoku took the paper and read it. He straightened his body after reading the top of the article.

"She's the daughter of Peter Smith?" His brows furrowed. If Lerina is the daughter of a businessman, then why is she working at her company?

"Well, she's the only daughter of Peter and Rose. Fifteen years ago, they died in a car accident." Uncle Peng explained.

"It's not that the Smith company is still running and..." Han remembered about the cooperation with the company.

"Robin Smith took over the company, as trustee of Miss Lerina, but something happened, when Miss Lerina had just finished school, Robin Smith kicked her out, they took over all of Peter Smith's property that should have belonged to Miss Lerina."

"Very interesting!" Han tugged at the corner of his lips. Peng knew for sure that his chairman had a plan.

"I don't think it's in our realm, sir. Miss Lerina has never brought that up. She lived well for six years and finished college, although she was one year late." Peng didn't want Han to do anything.

Then Han thought. Uncle Peng was right, but he kept thinking about Lerina.

"Uncle Peng, call Lerina here!"

"Well!"

Lerina entered with Sean beside her. He started to open his tablet, task as usual to read the president's agenda today.

"At ten o'clock there will be a Smith Company party here, sir. The rest is empty." Lerina bowed slightly. He then withdrew.

Sean lives inside with his daddy. So Lerina can do her job.

"President, Robin Smith has arrived, they are waiting in the meeting room!" Uncle Peng just contacted Han.

"All right, wait five minutes!" Han hung up the phone.

"Sean, Daddy is going down to meet a friend, are you going to stay here?" Sean was playing with Legos on the couch.

"Have Aunt Lerina accompany me!" He answered without turning to his father.

"Okay, daddy go now!"

"Hmm!"

Just sigh. Han shrugged his shoulders. Sean did inherit his nature; the boy was sometimes too ignorant. Only with certain people he cares.

Lerina stood up as Han approached her.

"Miss Smith, I'm going to see a representative from the Smith Company!" Han told.

"Yes sir! Do I have to go there?" Lerina asked swiftly.

Han examined his face; there was nothing different from the look on his face when he heard the family name. After all, this is the Smith family. Han was so curious.

"No need, accompany Sean inside!"

"Yes sir!" Lerina slightly bowed.

Han immediately left the top floor of his office building. Likewise Lerina, she then went to young Master Zoku, who was always able to warm his heart.
