What’s she yelling about? We’ll drop by a pharmacy, buy whatever’s needed, no big deal! Modern medicine has made incredible progress in this matter.

I felt good, she felt good. This has already happened between us more than once — I don’t get why she’s acting up again. I told her we’d continue on my territory, but she told me to go to hell.

“You’ll go, like a good girl. We’ll continue there, and then we’ll talk,” I growl at the stubbornly proud little thing. Too late to play hard‑to‑get and back out. I grab the girl closer and feel that strength has already returned to my insatiable organ. Oh, baby, we have so much ahead of us — you’ll be blown away! And I’m not letting my little bird go… at least not until I get bored, of course.

“Vicky, I wasn’t asking. You got under my skin — now deal with the consequences. You’ll be where I tell you to be and do what—”

The bitch didn’t let me finish, smashing a lamp over my head! Where the hell is that even seen?!

“Bitch!” I snarl, clutching my neck and ear.

She didn’t knock me out, but she disoriented me nicely, and for the umpteenth time ran off! Hit me without mercy. Blood‑thirsty little thing! My ears are ringing, stars in my eyes — but I’m not letting her get away.

Gathering the cards back into the deck, I burst out of the library, hunting for the little brat. I decide to intercept the runaway outside, but I don’t make it. Arm‑in‑arm with that little punk, she heads quickly toward the parked taxis.

Turning around, I see fear in the golden‑haired girl’s eyes — however, her pride wins, and the bitch sends me to hell once again with a gesture.

Well, darling! I’ll find you! I’ll find you and you’ll pay for everything! You won’t be able to walk for your nasty defiance!

While I was standing there, promising my golden‑haired girl all the heavenly punishments, Mila found me.

“Darling, you’re here?” the brunette purred contentedly, coming dangerously close. “Maybe we could slip away somewhere cozy around here?”

Mila whispered in a playful tone into my hurting ear and even licked it. She wrapped her hands around me from behind and tried to slip under my shirt, but I stopped her. For some reason, that move disgusted me and triggered a wave of aggression. I didn’t want her touching me — it felt gross.

“We’re leaving,” I inform her irritably, not even looking at the brunette, and Mila smiles happily, already anticipating the upcoming night. “Separately.”

Her playful mood instantly turns into clear confusion. Blinking a couple of times and opening her mouth, the brunette doesn’t immediately find what to say.

“What do you mean, separately?” — stupid, useless hen! I hate dumb chicks.

“Exactly what I said. You’re going home, and I’m going home,” I start descending the stairs, and the girl barely keeps up with me.

“But I thought we were going to have some fun tonight,” Mila doesn’t understand, pouting her lips.

“No, we’re not having fun anymore,” I start getting even angrier as we approach the taxi.

“You found someone else?” the brunette asks, hurt.

“Yes, I did,” — I’ll find Vicky anyway. “As far as I’m concerned, you’re neither offended nor deprived. So, no hard feelings,” I cut her off, seating the girl in the taxi.

“If anything, stay in touch,” the stubborn one muttered, and I just rolled my eyes. Some people don’t understand refusals.

On the way home, I called Mikhail and again gave orders to find Vicky. Now I had her name and the camera footage, which wouldn’t be difficult for my bodyguard to get.

The next day, I already knew that the guy’s name was Danil Koshev and that he was the son of one of our old partners. An athlete, a coach, and just starting to get involved in his father’s business.

There was still no information about Vicky. Apparently, she was his girlfriend. Danil was being watched, but he no longer had contact with the girl, and after a few days he left for some competitions.

That pissed me off, because I can’t stand waiting.

While my search was ongoing, one evening my father called me. He was beside himself with rage, which was pretty rare. In a harsh, commanding tone, he ordered both me and Nazar to come to him immediately. He didn’t reveal what it was about, only saying he would deal with us personally tomorrow.

What could have made him so furious, only God knows, but from the tone and the swearing, one thing was clear — something serious had happened.

I can’t hold back and slam my palm on the table when I see one of Kirill’s men calmly walk in and sit at a free table with a perfect view of us. It’s the same guy who drove us from the base. I think his name is Mikhail. The man sits down and flashes me a radiant smile, even winking.“Is that your bodyguard?” Marina asks, staring at the big guy, just as shocked as I am.“What the hell, Kirill?!” I call my fiancé, ready to give him a piece of my mind. “Why is your goon following me around?!”“What did you expect?” the man replies calmly. “After your morning statements about cheating with whoever, get used to Misha’s company now. Maybe you’ll finally become friends.”“Are you completely out of your mind?!” I yell so loudly a few of the café’s customers turn to look at me. “You’re such a pig!”I hang up and feel steam practically shooting out of my ears from rage. The bastard! He goes off to his harem, and sends his watchdog to guard me!I hate him!“Vicky, let’s just ignore him,” Marina

  • The Price of Bought Passion    63 Don’t Want to See Him

I felt nauseated, uncomfortable, disgusted. But, more than anything, I was disgusted with myself rather than the whole situation. I recalled our morning together, and it made me want to vomit. Why am I so weak in front of this arrogant stud? Just a minute ago, I had been a complete idiot to even entertain the thought that something could happen between us in the future.Seriously, Vicky?! Why are you such a fool?! You felt his fake care and immediately fell for his acting skills. It was even more infuriating, feeling embarrassed by my naive trust in just anyone. And my imagination wouldn’t help—it mercilessly painted scenes of the two of them naked, entwined, him passionately doing with her everything he once did to me, maybe even better. She moaned sweetly, shivering with pleasure he gave her. His magnificent body glistened with sweat over his rugged, tattooed muscles while the brunette beneath him arched gracefully with her perfect figure. Not like me, postpartum, with some fairly u

"No. I didn’t say that. Your mind is just… overly practical.""Well, you know!" I frown at him. "I have a question for you after our first night too. How did I end up pregnant?!" I start getting angry that someone’s “practical mind” turned out… not so practical!"There’s no 100% contraception," Kirill sighs heavily. "Maybe a condom was defective somewhere. We went multiple times that night," he smiles confidently. "Maybe our little boys got lost somewhere between changing the rubber…"Wow! He talks about it so casually! Of course, he wasn’t the one writhing in pain for more than twelve hours!"Tell me, after that incident in the library, did you take emergency contraception?" If I blushed before, now I noticeably turn pale, and Kirill notices immediately. "Are you serious, Vicky?!""If you didn’t notice, I wasn’t alone at that event!" This topic irritates me, and so does the way he acted then… and even now. "It would’ve been strange to go to a pharmacy with Danil and buy anything for

  • The Price of Bought Passion    61 Frank Conversations

After a long shower, I finally crawl out of my little hiding spot, but Kirill isn’t in the bedroom. Quickly changing into jeans and a T-shirt, I wrap my chest and loosely tie my hair in a messy bun. I hear someone clattering dishes in my kitchen. Looks like the man is hungry. When I step into the kitchen, I freeze a little. Kirill is standing in front of the open fridge, scratching the back of his head. And… nothing strange, right? But he’s wearing only sweatpants, sitting shamelessly low on his hips, and I can’t help staring at his tattooed bicep and equally appealing back.Damn man! Where do they make guys like this? Then I smile to myself—after all, I gave birth to exactly the same kind! You can’t fight genetics.“Don’t laugh at me,” I hear, realizing he caught me staring. “I was just thinking what to make for tea.”“There are candies and cookies in the top left drawer,” I smirk, and only then notice that Kirill warmed up some food leftover from last night’s dinner. We sit down for

The more I kicked and tried to push him away, the harder he pressed, showing his dominance over me. Because of my resistance, my robe came undone and rode up, exposing my thighs — which Kirill immediately grabbed as he settled his heavy body between my legs. The position was overwhelmingly intense, because he was clearly aroused, and only thin fabric separated us from sex. Pressing his hardness against my crotch, he made me insanely aroused too. He knew exactly what effect it would have on me and rubbed on purpose, driving me crazy.I couldn’t resist this kind of pressure for long. Everything down there was burning with desire, pulling soft moans out of me. I was moving under him myself, chasing even a hint of the fullness my body craved. My panties were soaked through — and Kirill noticed. Unexpectedly, he pulled back slightly and tugged down his boxers, freeing his hard length.I swallowed heavily. At that point, I didn’t care about promises or restrictions anymore. I wanted to feel

  • The Price of Bought Passion    59 Jealous

Vicky:I woke up and opened my eyes sharply, as if someone snapped their fingers. One thought was pounding in my head — that I’d been asleep for half a day and the kids were on their own, hungry, miserable, and unattended. Then my instant panic settled when I remembered the boys were with my mom. There was a strange heaviness around my waist, and when I lowered my gaze, I saw a man’s tattooed arm that had slipped under my robe and was wrapped around my bare stomach.Memories of yesterday and last evening instantly crashed into my sleepy brain, making me blush. It feels like I had a fever, delirium, and — hopefully — hallucinations. The fact that Kirill was helping me express milk is something you wouldn’t see even in a nightmare, and if it really happened, I want to sink through the ground. However, another episode surfaced in my mind — one I’d also like to forget. Yesterday there was a moment when I almost let myself get weak, but that was ruined like a slap across the face by the si
