Chapter 17
Aldridge arrived at the palace and was greeted by the guards. One led him to the Council chamber where the king was attending to some of the Kingdom's affairs.
The doors opened and the King looked over, he was not alone in the chamber; a few of the Ministers were as well and they were not pleased to see that the second prince was home, he always brought trouble with him and they were not looking forward to his latest shenanigans.
Aldridge smiled as he looked at his father and bowed, “Your majesty, I have returned.”
The King smiled at him and opened his arms, “Come give your father a hug.”

Shawn was inside a bakery waiting for his order when one of the manservants came looking for him and told him that Aldridge was home.Shawn arrived home and sent the cakes to the kitchen while he went to the chamber holding the box behind his back.Stepping through the doors, he saw that Aldridge was sitting on the bed hugging his legs with a pout. Aldridge stomped his foot and looked at the wall Shawn stood in front of. He walked back to his chamber and jumped on the bed. He grabbed a pillow and yelled into it releasing his frustration.One of the servants knocked on the door and said, “My Lord, the dishes Lord Seghatchian asked us to prepare are done, shall My Lord join Lord Seghatchian in the garden or will My Lord receive his food in his chamber?”Aldridge pulled his face out from the pillow and wiped his tears away, he looked at the door and asked, “Dishes?
