Chapter 20
Shawn left the chamber after resting and went to see Mr Wright. He walked out the back door when he could not see the servants insight and saw that Mr Wright was pacing back and forth with someone who had on a doctor’s coat drinking tea at the outdoor table.
Shawn frowned and ran his hand through his hair as he said, “You can attend to Aldridge now.”
Mr Wright almost jumped out of his boots when he heard Shawn’s raspy voice not expecting him to be behind him, “My lord, when?”
“Just now, stop wasting time,” Shawn said and went to sit by the table.
The doctor got up and glanced over at Shawn then scoffed and it did not fly by Shawn without being seen.
