Violette POV

It’s been a month since I found out about Viktor being my mate.. and well, everything else.. my nausea has gone away, and my belly has grown into a round bump. It’s not the biggest.. but you can definitely tell there’s a pup in there.

Viktor has been so kind and gentle.. taking care of my every need and want without asking any questions or putting up any fight. And today.. today he will be announcing my release.

I’m mainly concerned of my Father.. It would also seem my Father has married.. so getting to him would be far more difficult than we originally thought. Unless he plans to attack. And in case, we have a plan to hide me until my Father has fallen.

Viktor believes that with the announcement of our mating, and the pup.. that my people at home will turn against my Father, making it easier for us to get to him.

    Violette POV “I now pronounce you husband and wife. King Viktor, you may kiss your lovely bride.” The minister said. Viktor didn’t hesitate to pull me into his arms.     Violette POV “You may kiss the bride.” The pastor said. Cedric pulled her in for a kiss and the crowd went crazy. Little Colette cooed contently in my arms, Viktor holding my hand tightly. “The tiara suits her well.” Viktor said. I gave him a smile. “It does, doesn’t it?” I asked. He nodded in approval. “We should go, the fireworks are about to start.” He said as he got up. I’d just announced Lillian as the ruler, and she’s already made a change. I love it. I walked over to Beatrice and Sylvia. “Let me take her. You both go enjoy the fireworks.” Beatrice said with a smile. I handed Colette to her and she quickly took off with Sylvia. “Ready?” He asked. I nodded. “More than ready.” I said. We followed Cedric and Lillian out of the main door along with the crowd of people. As if on cue, the fireworks began.     Violette POV Where am I? What happened? My mind flashed with memories and my eyes shot open. My pup.. where’s my pup? My hands rolled over my empty belly. Where’s my pup? “Viktor?
