They did not speak for the remainder of the day. They slept in their separate room and that was that. After she had told Caden her thoughts, he didn’t say anything and just walked off. He needed to understand that Carson’s opinion about her was the one she cared about the most. Yes, she did like Caden, maybe she liked him a little too much. But she could not tell Carson until she was ready.
When the time came for him to pick them up to go to meet his family Caden never showed. She had knocked on his door and told him but he never came out and so she was forced to leave without him. Carson was confused but she just told him that he was feeling sick.
Aurora did understand what Caden was saying, but she hoped that he understood what she was saying. Not everything could work out the way he wanted and she wanted him to be a little patient. She would tell him. Just not yet.
