CHAPTER 26 - Amarah's Protector
Clayton was rubbing the back of his neck worriedly as Jacklyn finally went out from Amarah’s room after checking on her when she fainted again. He looked up when she said something to her father, who is now back in human form and wearing the clothes Matt had provided for him. He watched as he entered his daughter’s room, closing the door.
“She’s okay, Alpha,” Jacklyn assured when she turned and saw him looking at her expectantly. “She’s conscious now and requested to see her father. Let’s give them this time. She requested for it.”
He nodded as he turned to Lily, who is sitting beside Liam, who arrived just this afternoon after requesting him to join them. He noted that Lily looked disturbed while Liam looked somewhat furious over something.
“Is everything okay?” He asked patiently.
Lily refused to answer while her twin brother looked at Matt hardly, who is talking quietly with Jacklyn and Gloria by the kitchen counter.
