CHAPTER 40 - Losing Patience and Frustrations
Clayton gripped Amarah’ s upper arms tightly, pushing her towards the wall on one side of her room. He looked down at her angrily, his temper getting the best of him as he recalled the dread that took over him when he destroyed the lock of the door to her room and found it empty.
The moment the Transformation Ceremony was done, he spent an hour with his members as the pack gave them a party in celebration of their transformation before excusing himself to go to Amarah and spend the rest of the night with her. He felt his heart tugged when he managed to look up as the ceremony was starting and saw her looking out at her window and gave him a short wave. Before he transformed into Kragen, he looked up again and only saw a dimly lit room from her window, guessing she must have decided to sleep.
