CHAPTER 64 - Mrs. Langston's Blessing
Amarah pulled her hair into a loose ponytail later that morning after drying it before heading out from her room. She then directly went to the dining table and reached for an apple, biting into it, and feeling the sweet juice consuming her mouth deliciously. She opened the refrigerator and searched for other items inside that she could eat, too tired to do some quick cooking to ease her hunger.
She decided to blamed Clayton on her current situation but then relented. As much as she wants to make him the reason for her tiredness, she started to think as well that maybe it wasn’t really his fault.
She had never thought that what she and Clayton had done inside his room was something that she would come to like. The fact that she was able to accommodate his demands made her blush furiously from the top of her head to the tip of her toes.
A knock on the front door made her look up and she cautiously walk to there to open the door.
