Chapter Twenty Eight

Jared’s POV

I had put out SOS invites to all the nearby packs hoping they would respond with urgency. I asked them to meet in two days time we would be set up in the clearing. I kept raking my hands through my hair slamming my hands on the table. I could feel the hurt and anguish pouring in from Storm. She wasn’t trying to hide it. A part of me was grateful. We had a strong bond but she was always holding a part of herself back. One I would never blame her for though. I was thinking of her and the boys. I just wanted them to be safe. So many plans and arrangements would have to be made. If they found out we had left our pack unprotected would they come back for the boys? I certainly needed help guarding everything I loved here and what was right in front of me. I couldn’t let anything happen to Storm, I would stay by her side. She was going to have to do the hardest thing ever, I most certainly don’t think I would have been able to do it. Hours went by I just sat in the office sorting
