Laura's point of view: The entire crowd, made up of alphas, betas, and other high-ranking wolves, stood unable to hide the look on their faces. Shocked, terrified, and amazed faces were all gasping, wondering what had just happened before their eyes. Not only were they surprised to see the wolf, but they were also kind of afraid. It's weird how almost all species share one thing in common, which is fearing the unknown. Guards quickly ran to surround us—the royalties—away from that unknown, huge beast. Little do they know! The beast was mine, and I was more than glad it existed. The beast, as they like to call it so far, looked at the very injured Alan, then moved toward him. I didn't stop him or try to interfere between them. Still, for a while, I thought that Alan would try to attack the beast if he didn't run away.
