Freya's POV:
I moaned into the sloppy kiss I was sharing with my boyfriend. Our tongues invaded each other’s space, and my core ignited with need. I let my hands wander, finally resting on his bulge through the black trousers.
The window creaked, sending a chill across my arms as he pressed wet kisses against my skin.
“Lukas,” I whimpered loudly when his tongue played with my neck in a lazy manner.
His hands found their way around my corset, loosening the lace. He seemed frustrated, cussing under his breath
Lukas started to dry hump me making me quiver down there from how cold his zipper was. I arched my back, trying to close the space between us, my eyes fluttering shut in ecstasy.
The only thing I wanted was for him to play with my nipples like he usually did whenever he drags me into a storage room in school to have a quick makeout with me.
“Lukas, my…” I started but trailed off when I heard the door open.
My eyes darted toward the door. No one was there; I must be imagining things, maybe because I hadn’t taken my medication before prom.
I frowned when he knelt over me and started to unbuckle his belt instead of giving me the foreplay that I had imagined in my head.
“Let's play a bit,” I murmured and tried to bring his head down, but he resisted.
The bed creaked under our weight and I hoped it wasn't going to break because it would be so embarrassing and Lukas was definitely not going to let me hear the end of it.
“Play with sand instead,” he joked breathily, and I let out a chuckle while hoping he was actually going to listen to me.
The chances of that happening were 0.002 percent, but a girl could dream?… hope? I wasn't sure about the phrase.
It turned out that he wasn't playing when he came down once more and guided his dick inside me.
This was our first time going this far and we had both planned to do it on prom day, which was today. I've been imagining how this day was going to unfold and I had imagined it being sweet, romantic and breathtaking…not rushed.
“Is it in yet?” I asked and he grunted then moved around a bit more.
I couldn't feel anything.
“Huh?” I said, a little bit out of breath and stared down.
Saying Lukas was far away from where it was meant to be would be an understatement. I laughed loudly but soon stopped when I saw the displeased look on his face.
I adjusted a bit, feeling embarrassed about the whole situation and started to wonder if I really wanted this with him.
“Let me help,” I said even though I wasn't wet enough and considering that this was my first time, it was going to hurt a lot.
I guided him inside, careful despite how unprepared I was but made sure to brush his dick around my clit for a while and didn't stop even when he started to complain that I was taking time.
I started to put him in little by little, but Lukas didn't have the level of patience that I did and started to push with a bit of force that had me wincing.
“Okay, that's enough play, kids,” a voice said from the corner. I froze, unsure if it was real or just in my head.”
“Who is that?” Lukas asked and I froze, my body suddenly going cold.
If he had heard that, then I was definitely not hallucinating. On cue, a silhouette detached itself from the dark corner of the room.
I felt my heart in my throat just before I let out an ear-piercing scream. The intruder raised a brow up in annoyance and apart from that expression, he looked completely unfazed.
Lukas stood and squared himself toward the intruder, ready to fight, while I clutched my blouse to my chest, trembling.
“Who are you?” Lukas asked with obvious fear in his shaky voice.
The intruder, who looked way older than all of us, glanced down and stared at Lukas’ dick before giving me a judgmental look that screamed ‘Really?!’
“Keep that tiny weenie away please,” he said nonchalantly while pointing to Lukas’ dick that was swaying around.
I watched my boyfriend's cheek go red in embarrassment and I would have probably laughed because he was getting a taste of his own medicine but I wasn't in the best position to.
“You still haven't answered the question though,” I finally said when I found my voice, although it was a bit coarse.
I regretted opening my mouth since that brought his attention to me. He shrugged then stalked towards me while I scrambled back until my spine hit the headboard in horror.
Everywhere suddenly seemed small as if my space was reducing and all I could do was stare at my boyfriend who was just standing there.
We finally made eye contact and I was sure that the look in my eyes was enough to tell him what I wanted. He knew that I needed his help at the same time, I felt like I was hopeless even though he was still here.
“Lukas,” I begged in a voice that was barely a whisper as my body started to feel foreign to me the same way it always did whenever I felt stranded or stuck.
Lukas hesitated for a bit, what seemed like guilt flashing before his eyes before he ran. He slammed the door behind him and that was when I realised how much of a fool I've been.
My mind went blank as my brain started to feed me with signs that I had ignored just because I wanted to be with him.
Strong hands gripped my waist and lifted me off the bed but I didn't fight. I couldn't even if I wanted to because I was too stunned by the betrayal even though I saw signs.
My body felt light as he carried me down the hallway, my father’s empty bottle sat on the couch.
The crisp night air hit my bare chest since the dress was hanging low and that snapped me back into reality.
“Let me go,” I screamed into the air and started to trash around in his hand.
The man didn't budge and just kept walking, completely unbothered by my struggle.
“Somebody help me.”
My voice was already getting raspy and the cold air wasn't even helping. It was as if all this was planned out because there wasn't a single soul and the only living thing making noise apart from me were the moving trees.
I burst into tears and resorted to begging instead, “Please let me go. I promise not to tell anyone.”
I was slowly giving up but still wanted to leave so I tried to make another attempt when I saw that we were getting close to a black car that was suspiciously parked down the street.
“My father is a policeman-
“A retired drunk though,” he interrupted in a mocking tone.
My blood ran cold. He knew everything, even though he was a stranger. My heart pounded, each beat echoing in my ears. Every instinct screamed at me to fight, but I was trapped.
Before I could recover from the shock, he threw me into the car and I fell face flat on the seat with my chest pressed flat against the seat. I looked up and froze when I noticed that I wasn't the only one in the car.
His silky hair that was as black as the night wasn't my focus. It was his eyes… his red eyes.
I had never seen red eyes before. His gaze flicked to my chest, and irritation darkened his expression.
Feeling conscious and insulted, tears clouded my eyes as I made a poor attempt at covering my body when the main kidnapper came in.
“What do you want from me?" I whispered when the car started and looked around frantically.
Panic set in. I scrambled for ways to escape before we got too far from home.
“We’re collecting your father’s debt. Once it’s paid, you’ll be free,” the main captor said while his partner stared out the window, bored.
It felt so hard to breathe that I started to gasp for air as more gruesome thoughts came into my mind.
“Is she dying?” I heard the green eyed man ask his brother with a bit of worry in his voice.
After a while, I heard the other one's voice for the first time and unlike his brother, there was no ounce of emotion.
“She'll live.”

Freya's POV:The rejection had hit me hard in the face that my embarrassment wouldn't make me face Lucien anymore. It was hard but for the past few days, I've successfully avoided him with Nora's help. She knew something was going on but didn't ask questions.I haven't been seeing things anymore and it was probably because Nora gave me my medication. I didn't have to ask who it was from.I had that figured out already. Currently, we were all gathered around the largest counter and dropping our latest gossip. The vampires apparently have a meeting and we hardly have any hovering around us which we were grateful for.Well, I was especially grateful that Laura wasn't anywhere close by. Thinking about it, I've not seen her ever since I returned.“I heard Baron Stephen was demoted after that incident,” a pet muttered and gasp filled the kitchen.I had surely missed a lot since I didn't know the incident she was talking about. With a sigh, I stood up and quietly left their midst. It was cl
Freya's POV:“What do you mean?” Duncan asked as he stood up.I wasn't sure if I was supposed to follow, so instead, I sat quietly and listened to their conversation. After all, they were doing a good job acting as if I didn't exist.“I'm taking her back. Is that so hard to comprehend?” Lucien replied with obvious irritation. He glanced at me and nodded, so I jumped on my feet. Duncan looked between both of us, obviously torn. “Human world?” he asked at the same time his back went stiff. I felt my heart stop as I waited for Lucien's response. For some reason, he seemed to love the suspense and took his sweet time.“My estate.”The tension released my heart and my organs started to function properly once more. Lucien cocked his head to the side as if he was studying me.My hand instinctively covered my body at the same time, the arousal I felt left. Why was he acting like he didn't catch me almost making out with his childhood friend? But then again, everything about this place was
Freya's POV:My eyes darted away as I stared into space. I could feel my cheeks get hot and my palms sweaty.“I-i don't know what you're talking about,” I muttered.Duncan let out a chuckle that made me look a bit in his direction for just a split second. What does he think of me? He clearly saw what I had done with Lucien the other day.I wanted to tell him that I wasn't promiscuous, but the words refused to come out.“If you say so,” he said.I should have been relieved that he dropped it, but it didn't sit right with me. I pressed my hands against my knees to stay quiet. It didn't work. “It's not what you're thinking.”Duncan's eyes stayed on me as he played with his lips. I couldn't keep up anymore with the deafening silence and looked away.“What do you think is going on in my head?” he asked and I froze. His face was blank, so trying to figure out what he was thinking was useless.“That I'm promiscuous,” I muttered in barely a whisper.I looked away when his expression didn't ch
Freya's POV:The ceremony started once the sun set and the moon rose. It was a full moon and from what Sopgie had told me they held this ceremony whenever there was a full moon.“Sit here and don't move around unnecessarily,” Sophie had instructed before she joined the procession.I was currently obeying her instruction although I was getting weird glances. At first I wondered why until I realised that all slaves sat behind. I wanted to move but for some reason, it felt like Sophie had her eyes on me from where she was seated.“Who gather here to worship the loon goddess,” the Alpha started. He seemed to have a limp that wasn't obvious if he didn't move around a lot.The elders were right behind him while the Alpha's family sat in front.I didn't recognise any other person apart from Duncan and Sophie. Bruno wasn't here.It was as if he didn't exist and everyone seemed to find it normal.I had waited for one of the side gossips but it never came. “We worship her for giving us victo
Freya's POV:We're trying to send you back to your world. My heart went still at that moment as I stared at him blankly.“W-what do you mean by that?” I finally croaked out, talking a large gulp of nothing.Duncan sat forward, his brows etched as he looked conflicted.I was supposed to be happy so why wasn't I? This was literally the best time to leave this fucked up place.“Freya…” he started but trailed off.I watched him rub his hand over his face, waiting for his response. “Things are going to get really awful here and you might lose your life,” he finally said, looking me straight in the eyes.I clenched my hands resting on my thighs to maintain composure.“And things might turn out good if you and Lord Lucien stop hiding things from me,” I muttered.I could feel my eyes wavering so I looked away, staring at the door.I heard Duncan let out a deep sigh and some shuffling. Within a minute, he was standing right in front of meI went still with my eyes wide open. This was the firs
Lucien's POV:“What did he do to you?” I asked in a whisper, my eyes wide open as I stared at her.Mother was supposed to be very old and close to death but she was the opposite. If no one knew her, she would pass as my sister. She bowed her head as if covered in shame and picked on her finger. My hands that were on the cell gate shook violently.“I'm going to kill him,” I said with anger, my eyes refusing to stay in one place. Her skin wasn't only fresh but also had red spots from the sunlight. I knew that was painful because it took a while for me to get used to my new life.“Lucien, wait.” Her fragile hand held me down and even though I could have pulled away, I didn't. My heart ached for who she was now because I knew the repercussions. “Why are you stopping me from tearing him apart?” I asked with a sigh, refusing to look at her.She tugged on my shirt but I stayed still. I could have stopped this if I confronted him earlier. The pain I felt made my lungs lock up and I couldn'
Freya’s POV:Two days. That was how long I had stayed away from the kitchens, and it wasn't because anyone told me to, but because Lucien had insisted I rest after fainting. The servants had obeyed him without question, which meant no one had expected to see me working again so soon. However, lyin
Freya’s POV:When I opened my eyes, someone was standing beside the bed… a bit too close. Close enough that I could see the outline of their shoulders in the dim light and feel their breath on my neck. My heart slammed violently against my ribs as I jerked upright, the room spinning slightly.“Wh
Duncan's POV:The scent hit me before the sight did.Blood.And it wasn't the usual metallic tang that filled Lucien’s estate every night, but something different. Something rich. Sweet. Powerful. It slammed into my senses so violently that I stopped in the hallway, my hand pressing against the wa
Freya's POV:The mansion felt alive in a way that made my heart pound as the whispers of the other slaves who were lucky enough not to be pets filled every corner of the mansion. Screeches and screams from pets tore through the thick walls of the mansion in a way that left a chill. I would have be
