Ramses smiled at me. I knew he would forgive me for my mishaps… Katrina, well, she smiled as well, but acted hurt. I knew this was the marks pull affecting her.

"Ambrosia." I said, and my pet looked at me. I nodded my head towards the seat next to me on the couch.

She was so good at reading signals. She instantly climbed off my lap and took a seat next to me.

I stood up and walked over to the couch where Ramses and Katrina were sitting. I held my hand out to Katrina, looking over at Ramses for permission. He nodded to me, and Katrina put her hand in mine.

I could hear her heartbeat going insane at my touch. I pulled her up off the couch into my arms.

I could hear my pet's heartbeat increase as well. She had no idea what was going on, which was to be expected.
