(Rowen)

The next couple of days went by without a hitch. No sign of The Others, no attempts on the amulet, nothing weird. Even my security detail was bored. I thought Ambrosia would be upset that Amethyst was gone but she seemed fine.

She was bustling around, decorating the house with the new things she purchased a few days ago, and Rosa was busy preparing lunch. It was Saturday and the Blood Ball was tonight.

I already had a plan to get Claude to talk, we just had to get there and find him first. I was just hoping that he would give me the answers I wanted. I guess that depended on if the threat was big enough for him to talk.

I just hoped he really wanted Amethyst as much as she made him out to. That’s the only way this would work. I mind linked my brother, Ramses.

    Chapter 48(Rowen)The Vampires were of help, they did let us know the location they planned to take Ambrosia, which was different from the warehouse location we had already gotten out of them. We sent our armies to infiltrate both locations and came up empty handed. Ambrosia was not located at either of the locations, but we did manage to take out some more of The Others.     Chapter 47 I had no idea when I dozed off, but thankfully I didn’t dream at all. I have no idea how long I slept, but when I woke up I was curled up next to Dominik.
