Annabel’s Pov.

I was in a sad mood when I arrived at the mansion from school. I didn’t even want to talk to anyone, I just wanted to get to my room, shower, and go to bed. And that was why when some of the maids caught me trying to sneak into my room, I had told them a lie about having excruciating headaches which was not all a lie as the slap Felicia had landed on my cheek had given me a minor headache that seemed to be growing.
