Hello, my beautiful readers! I hope you that enjoyed reading Violet and Caleb's story as much as I loved writing it! I always read stories where the main characters jump right in to a relationship, but haven't read many about the journey leading up to it. That is what I wanted to create. A book where my readers feel the emotions with the characters as they develop. I've also heard a lot of feedback that epilogues should only include marriage, pregnancy/ child birth, or a proposal. I wanted a story that broke the norm. I wanted to create a story that was about the creation of a relationship with a look into their future without it being a stereotypical epilogue, so I gave bonus chapters instead. I hope you enjoyed. Your feedback and comments mean the world to me. So, please leave the book a review or comment to let me know what you thought! Plus, don't forget to Vote! I appreciate you all! Love, Ashley Breanne
My ankles crossed under the table in the student union as I placed another deliciously salty fry in my mouth. It wasn't every day that one could get a free show with their meal, but there I was, enjoying both. Don't misunderstand me, I know that the amusement I was feeling from watching it was wrong. Yet, I continued to munch on chunks of oil-crisped potatoes like it was popcorn with wide eyes, unable to do anything but stare at the couple that was fighting only a few tables down. There wasn't much other conversation in the crowded room, and I contemplated telling them that their discussion was not private, but my ass stayed glued to my seat as I ate. If they wanted to make this everyone's business, that was their choice. The last thing that I wanted was to be pulled into the drama. As one of the only girls in the school who wasn't completely in love with the beautiful cheerleader and quarterback's storybook romance, I was highly entertained. "Four years, Dia
It was a long week of hearing the rumor mill run wild. Apparently, it went from her wanting to sleep with other people, to Diana being pregnant with another man's baby already. I was so tired of hearing it. The fallout was amusing at the time, but now it was irritating me. No matter where I went or who I talked to, they would always round the conversation back to, "Did you hear what happened between Briggs and Diana?" I have nothing personal against them. It was just so cliché! At first, they were the school's golden couple. High school sweethearts going to college together and dominating the school as the cheerleader and the quarterback. I'm pretty sure the college even used their picture in a promotion somewhere. The perfect power couple. Even now that they are no longer together, they are still everywhere! The large, coffee-colored leather couch against the wall of my father's office was perfect for napping but not so good for getting any of my work done. I could
When I was 18, I learned that my dad had been dating a woman without my knowledge; Selena Hart. When I was told that she had a son who played football, I was insanely jealous that my dad finally got the son he always wanted. I felt like my world flipped upside down, and I hadn't been ready for it. Lucky for me, Tyler was respectful of our family dynamic. While he gave my dad his blessing, he also wasn't looking for a replacement father, which meant that I got to keep him all to myself for a while... at least until they moved in with us. Tyler and I actually got on really well, almost too well. It was like we were siblings our whole lives. If it weren't for his brown eyes, we could probably pass for brother and sister. The best part was that we were only a few months apart, and it helped us get on better than if we had years between us. The knowledge that Selena was the one who created and raised Tyler made me give the big thumbs up to my dad when he told me of his plans to m
As we walked further away from campus to the row of fraternity houses, I felt the excitement build. After the party last year, I knew that I couldn't get carried away, but I would still enjoy myself. When I was on campus, there were always eyes on me. It was an unspoken rule that when a member of the staff had a child enrolled, that the rest looked out for them. Unfortunately for me, even though I was 20, it also meant that everything that I did was immediately reported to my father. Good thing that The Row was just off of the main campus and away from any staff. It didn't take long before we saw other people walking around in their costumes, all headed toward the sounds of the muffled bass and screams. The costumes around me were all the same. There were so many "sexy" professions that I never knew existed. Chloe walked next to me in her adorable and very short Alice in Wonderland dress, with her long blonde hair curled down her back. She wasn't too
The second that she walked out the backdoor of our frat house with the black fabric tied over her eyes, I couldn't take my own away. It amused me that we had the same idea, and I smiled for the first time in a few days as I let out a chuckle. Her shirt sat tight against her toned stomach, and I admired the way that she looked sexy without parading around naked like most of the other girls who came out tonight. A hard elbow jabbed into my side, and I turned with a glare as the smile fell from my face. Jones leaned over with a knowing grin and jutted his chin in the direction of the girl as she approached the bar. "One wingman coming up!" He announced before I could say anything and took off toward her. As a best friend, he was great. As a person, he was sometimes a bit too pushy and overbearing. It made me worried that he may come on too strong and scare her away. Jones was like an over-excitable puppy. It was hard to deter him away from something that
Jones dealt, and I looked down at my cards. 20. "What'll it be?" He asked her with a smirk. "Hit me." She said as she tilted her head to the side. That one card could determine a lot. I glanced over her, and my eyes were drawn to the ink on her arms. She was magnificent. I wondered if she had more that I would be able to see tonight after a few rounds. The smirk on her face made me want to curse as I realized that she had gotten the card that she wanted. As we went around the table two more people hit, but no one put their cards down. I held. Jones had 14 showing and turned over a king. "Fuck!" He shouted. "Alright, alright. Let's see them." He said with a pout. I glanced around the table, and I couldn't help but smile when I saw she had 20 as well. The others at the table had a collection of the high teens, and I quickly turned back to the bandit smiling at me. "What would you like?" She asked me, and my eyes zoomed i
I pulled my shirt on in a hurry as I moved through the crowd and into the house. The bottle in my hand sloshed around as I looked for something new to do that would get me away from the captivating green-eyed bandit in the backyard. Something about him was familiar but also dangerous. I was intrigued, and that was never a good thing. If it weren't for my mask, I probably would not have taken off my shirt. With it on, I felt like nothing could stop me. The way he held my gaze as I took off my top before he let his eyes roam my body made my entire being heat up. If that girl didn't lose her stomach on the table, I would have stripped right down to my birthday suit with the way he was making me feel as he watched me. It was invigorating. I adjusted the strap of fabric around my eyes for the millionth time that night before I made my way up the stairs to locate the bathroom. There were a few downstairs, but they were probably disgusting at this point. The walk was quick,
