The way they dressed. She didn’t know if that was a must, but they loved wearing white a bit too much. They had strange marks on their foreheads and the most she saw were flowers. There were female and male seers and all of them were very powerful.

These seers could be born in the witch, vampire, or werewolf tribes. She didn’t see anyone among the human tribes since the movie didn’t seem to care much about them.

However, she noticed something common to these seers. Those who were seers didn’t carry traits of their tribe. They all looked human until they triggered all the conditions to become seers. For the tribes to see if they are seers, the strange mark on the forehead must come out. If it doesn’t come out, then the person in question might suffer.

For example, she saw a few seers who emerged in werewolf tribes. Because they didn’t shift when it was time. They were labeled as wolfless and became the omegas and bitches of the pack. They were mistreated and abused and some of them couldn’t take it and even died before they could trigger their powers.

She couldn’t help but feel sorry for these people who suffered so much and died without even knowing how powerful they were. It was truly a pity. But what did all this have anything to do with her situation?

She just couldn’t understand it all, and she was on the verge of going insane.

“Can you just get to the damn point?” she gnashed her teeth as she said that out loud, hoping that the voice could still hear her.

After all, what was the point of her, a human being, to understand in detail all this supernatural business? Would this help her cut off the heads of Hilary and Veda?

In her eyes, it was as if that voice was telling her just how powerful the supernatural beings were. It was starting to anger her, to be honest.

Unfortunately, the voice pretended to be dead as it continued with its narration.

“Seers are very rare and in a family with a seer, a seer might never reappear again. At times, when those who can’t get the seers on their sides, they usually do their best to eradicate such families. That way, they would nip the trouble from the root. Even if that family was supposed to be blessed with more seers, with everyone gone. They will be no more!”

Elowyn rolled her eyes when she heard that. Since they have a seer in the family, can’t the seer predict what is going to happen? Could it be that these seers would be so weak?

Why expose themselves when they don’t even have the power to protect themselves?

Suddenly, she didn’t have a good image of these seers.

“Some are destined to become seers, but because they fail to trigger that, they die without even knowing. In most cases, this happens when the supernatural mate with humans instead of their own species.

With how the world has turned out today, there are a lot of supernatural who are involved with humans. Just like how you were embroiled with a werewolf for three years. Some lucky ones are fated mates. While others just come together, though, the ending will be as miserable as yours,” the voice once again showed how sarcastic it could be.

Elowyn clenched her fists, her teeth gritted as she glared hatefully at the screen, which was showing her miserable life with Hilary.

When they reached this point, she could tell that they were finally getting to the gist of the story, but must they really do it by opening her wounds and rubbing salt in them?

Must they really do that?

Unfortunately, the other party didn’t care, as she saw herself several more times on the screen before the people on the screen changed to others.

Elowyn sighed with relief when she saw the change and continued to listen to the narration, praying that she wouldn’t be made an example again.

“There are several cases where supernatural don’t reveal their identity. As a result, there are women out there who end up conceiving and raising their children. When such innocent women do so, it’s obvious that they wouldn’t know what kind of children they are raising.

They might lack the knowledge to trigger the power in their children or how to train them and make them powerful as they were supposed to be. Now that brings us to the reason why we are watching all this,” the voice said, its tone becoming much better, but that only made Elowyn suspect it more as her heart thumped with nervousness.

She didn’t know what reason she was here and how that was going to help her. All she knew was that she was very nervous and fearful. After all, she might come across a secret that would change her life forever.

With everything that she had listened to. Especially with humans being included in the story, she had an inkling that the truth might be scarier than she anticipated.

Badum. Badum. Badum.

Her heart was drumming loudly as the screen changed and started showing another version of the movie.

On the screen, Elowyn watched a young couple running for their lives in a forest. Chasing them were a group of werewolves, so large, Elowyn couldn’t help but shiver with worry. She had never seen something scary like that, even when she was staying with Hilary for three good years.

“Run! I will fend them off!” the young man urged his partner as he let go of her hand.

On the woman’s face, Elowyn saw tears and helplessness, but she never stopped running. Instead, she placed her hands firmly on her belly and it was then that Elowyn saw that the woman was pregnant and said to the man, “Always remember that I love you no matter what!”

The young man smiled at her and nodded while responding, “I will always love you as well!” before shifting into a large black wolf.

With the wolf guarding the woman, the woman ran for her life. And on the screen, Elowyn cried as she watched the black wolf fighting against the group of wolves.

As for the woman, she made a seal with her hands and an invisible shield covered her, but a group of witches who appeared behind the group of wolves were fighting her and casting spells to break the shield.

The battle lasted for a long time and the black wolf was defeated. He was killed brutally and before he took his alt breath. He howled painfully and the woman stumbled to her knees and cried bitterly. Tears of blood streamed down her cheeks as the group of witches surrounded her. The wolves were running in her direction as well.

And those witches were busy egging her on.

“Your mate is dead. Hand over yourself and be obedient. Otherwise, you and your child will die here!”

But how could she give in easily like that?

“I would rather follow my fate than succumb to your shamelessness. I will never live a life of slavery, never!” she swore with gnashed teeth before making a series of hand seals.

When the witches saw that, their leader shouted, “Get back right now!” anxiety in her voice and Elowyn witnessed a grand scene.

“Kayden!” she called out to him, and he nodded at her.Earlier, the Alpha had told her repeatedly to call him by his name without the title. Although she felt uncomfortable at first, after exchanging words a few more times, she found herself calling him like that.Perhaps she adapted pretty well because she used to call Hilary by his name as well. Especially when they were alone.Anyway, that wasn’t the crux of the matter right now. She wasn’t with Hilary anymore but with Kayden.[Doesn’t she look beautiful?] Caesar shamelessly boasted as he groomed himself, and Kayden found himself taking several sneakier glances at Elowyn. She wasn’t wearing any fancy clothes, yet she looked ethereal. His heart couldn’t help but pound.‘Beautiful!’“Um ….. um,” but that wonderful moment was disrupted when Letty cleared her throat exaggeratedly, making Elowyn’s fa

With her mind made up, Elowyn no longer stressed herself with many things.Recalling what the Alpha had told her earlier, she started freshening up, getting ready for dinner. It was time to meet others and get acquainted with them. *****Meanwhile, inside Kayden’s villa, he was in the main living room with several people who looked quite relaxed and not imposing.“Kayden, are you really sure that we should keep this girl?”“Yes, she looks a bit delicate.”“What’s her story?”Kayden looked at the men and women who were not just his subordinates, right-hand men, but also friends with a smile. He couldn’t help but remember how lonely he was when he first joined the supernatural world. The fear, doubt and many other thoughts. He was lost, but one by one, meeting them made his life pretty much easier. They have been togethe

Elowyn was in a great mood as she looked at the villa she finally settled on after checking the other villas that were currently not in use.To think that Alpha Kayden could build so many villas for his pack members to live in, she could see the love he has for his family, and that alone made her like the man even more.Coming to the Aynor pack, Elowyn always knew that her stay was guaranteed. After all, Hazel had settled everything for her. But in that moment when she was speaking with the Alpha, she couldn’t help but want to do something for herself. She alone understood how badly she wanted this chance. She knew that the Alpha didn’t have any reason to train her or be involved with this mess. That’s why she went down on her knees to beg him for this chance. She wanted him to know her earnestness. Her looks can be deceiving, and that could be deadly. What if no one takes her seriously or simply assumes that she is delicate and couldn&r

“I will have your identification problem solved before the end of the week. So, I might need your details, if you don’t mind.”Elowyn readily gave them. she didn’t even need to give false information at all. however, she couldn’t help but remind him of something.“I am not sure how you will find my name written in the system. If it’s not deceased, then please just have my previous identification reissued, but if it comes out as deceased, then please use Gardner instead of Gregory as my last name,” she firmly said, taking into account that Hilary might have declared her dead. After all, she truly died in some sense that night.Kayden was curious when he heard that. After all, how could a living person be announced dead all of a sudden? So, he asked her directly.“Do you mind telling me about what happened to you? Why do you need to hide and what you want to achieve? You can choose not to say anyt

She was once fooled by Hilary, and she wasn’t going to let another man fool her again.Luckily, she was only here to stay away from trouble and train. She wasn’t here to date and fool around. With her goals firm, she pushed aside her bias towards Kayden. However, he lives his life, which was on him and not her.So, why fuss? With that in mind, her eyes softened as a smile appeared on her face.Unknown to her, her changes were all captured by Kayden. In fact, her scent shocked him. From being sweet to sour suddenly. It was sour briefly and in that short moment, he could sense this strong aversion towards him that he couldn’t understand. Not understanding what her mind was thinking, the sourness vanished, replaced by the sweetness that got him enchanted. If only he could read her mind, then wouldn’t he be stressed?Unfortunately, there was no way to solve this problem. He could only take it one second at a

Back to the present, after Elowyn ate her food, she began to focus on Linda.“Where are we going. What is it called?”“Aynor town. It’s a private small town with a reasonable number of residents,” Linda answered cautiously.Elowyn’s eyes lit up when she heard that. She wasn’t particularly fond of bustling places. They made her feel socially awkward. She was more used to staying in secluded places. Perhaps she was influenced by her mother, who took her to stay in the woods for years before she found Hilary, who took her to stay with his pack, which resided in the woods as well.Due to their uniqueness, it was rare for packs to live amongst normal human beings. They might mingle and work with them, but to live amongst them, that would mean increasing the risk of being found out. There weren’t many people who knew about the supernatural. Whilst the leaders knew about it, normal humans had no clue. To avo
