‘It hurts!’ she patted her stifling chest as she looked at the women inside the cellar, all unconscious after she had spread the knock out drug.

She couldn’t let any of these people see her face. Who knows what they might say?

They were like superheroes. Perform a good deed and never taking on the credit.

[It’s going to be fine with time.]

‘With time? We have managed to save only few these past months, but who knows how many others have succumbed to such inhumane ending before we started this? Think about those who I can’t even see, who are getting taken and disappearing every single day. Just think about them.’

Elowyn was so angry. She grew up with her mother, and their life was considered good. at least, she had never suffered.

Despite growing up in the forest, living off the land, she wasn’t raised like some animal and had her principles. In fact, her mother, she raised her like some naïve princess. Which was why when she first Hilary, she didn’t even think about danger. Thinking about those princess fairytales her mother used to read to her, she sorts of saw Hilary like a prince, and in some ways a damsel that needed saving.

Her heart didn’t allow her to just watch and ignore such a pitiful man wallowing in grief and killing himself.

She carried such a pure heart and yet there were women out there so horrible they were willing to do anything to achieve their dreams and satisfy their vanity.

She was remined of Veda. For her selfish reasons, that woman …… thinking about the plans she has for Veda, her gaze turned cold as her lips curled slightly upwards.

That woman in red, deserved to die. She didn’t even want to hear what she has to say or negotiate about. In fact, she regretted killing that woman so swift and painlessly like that.

If she had known that the situation was this bad, she should have inflicted more pain and let that woman go to hell understanding the crimes and sins she had committed.

Unfortunately, the other party was gone. Thankfully, everyone was still alive who was in this place.

[We can’t change everything at once, but for what we can, we will do our best. Don’t eat yourself!]

Elowyn sighed as she understood that her ancestor meant well and spoke the truth. she could only move one step at a time.

She turned around to face the military men who were awaiting orders and sighingly ordered, “Do whatever is necessary and leave no trace. We should be calling the police any time soon, once the coast is clear.”

“Yes, Ma’am.”

Knowing that the instruction has been accepted, Elowyn no longer bothered herself with the rest and left.

As soon as she was gone, the men started checking the fainted women one by one and when they saw a young woman probably in her mid-twenties, they all sighed with relief as they looked at each other.

“We found her!”

And the military men enthusiastically continued with their chores, happy smiles finally on their faces.

Meanwhile, outside, when Elowyn found the girls, the werewolf was already dead and looked quite horrible.

“How long?” she asked as she scrutinized the corpse still lying in the pool blood.

“Five!” came the response and Elowyn clicked her tongue.

“Too long!”

“Thought the same as well.”

She chuckled as she looked at her friends getting reminded of that saying, ‘birds of a feather flocks together.’

“Now that the matter is solved. Let’s get rid of the bodies. We need to leave this place as soon as possible.”

“Yes Ma’am,” the girls teasingly responded and Elowyn rolled her eyes at them before getting busy with work.

With the help of the military men, all the dead bodies were piled up in a heap. Lizzy took out several bottles of dark liquid she happily poured on the bodies. Bryssa flicked the matches stick and threw it casually on the pile of bodies, and Elowyn with several hands’ movements formed a shield around the corpse.

The girls watched without much empathy as the bodies burn in an inferno. With the shield around, no smoke rose and the smell was contained.

“How long do you think is going to take this time to burn everything?” Lizzy curiously asked as she rubbed her chin thoughtfully.

Both Bryssa and Elowyn glared at her before letting our snorts and walked away.

“You guys!” Lizzy ran after the, sounding very much wronged.

What did she do again this time?

                                                                     ----****-----

Two hours later, there were no signs of dead bodies, even the ash was gone, the bloodstains all disappeared thanks to another powder that Lizzy came with.

As for the abducted women, they still remained in the cellar and starting to rouse awake.

Wee…wooo…..wee wooo.

Meanwhile, rushing towards the abandoned mansion was a convoy of police cars. They received a report about an hour ago, of someone claiming to have seen a group of women and children locked up in a cellar. The caller had generously dropped a location before hanging up.

Of course, after tracing the caller, they noticed that the location was nearly the same as that of where the women were being hostage.

Despite not knowing whether it was true or not, they moved pretty quickly and were on their way.

When they got there, the air was filled with a bloody scent; it could be felt that a huge battle occurred and yet there were clearly no signs of any bodies, and bullet shells lying around. However, the holes on the building spoke volumes.

Something had indeed happened, and they could only move with caution.

When they entered inside, still cautious, they were shocked by the scene that welcomed them.

A group of helpless women huddled together, trembling with fear the moment they pushed that door open.

“Don’t be afraid. You are safe. We are the police!”

When the group of women and children confirmed that they were dealing with the real police finally broke down, and the police officers that night were quite busy.

Meanwhile, at that familiar camping site, a woman’s face was so gloomy as she crashed the phone in her hand.

‘Useless!’ she angrily uttered in her mind as she looked in the direction of the mountain ridge.

Who could have foreseen that after so much calculations, the result will be the same?

She could only grit her teeth, her eyes flickering with anger and somewhat, with a disturbing feeling, couldn’t help but look in a certain direction.

Looking at the silent camper van, her eyes flickered as she thought about something.

There is no such thing as coincidences in this world. With that thought in mind, she carried her feet with elegance as she walked in that direction.

Elowyn generously waved her hand at Sara, understanding how tough it must be for this human.“It’s not a problem. It would have been worse if we haven’t showed up. Now that would have looked like we have just diched the plan and not kept to our promise. Thank you for coming over.”“As long as you find no fault. I am grateful.”After Sara made her own statement, Melinda also got down to hers.“Um, I miscalculated my period days. I was wondering if you have any extra pads or something. Anything for me to pass the night until its morning,” she shyly stated her course, and Sara finally understood why she was acting like that. But there were other campers at the site, why not go to them but to Elowyn?Elowyn didn’t have such thoughts as Sara. After hearing Melinda’s reason, she felt this weird emotion. It kind of reminded her of when she was still by herself in that forest, didn’t

This was simply so ….. ahhh, I hope that we won’t come across such scum in the future!” Lizzy disgustedly spoke, recalling the situation she saw in that basement.Elowyn chuckled as she walked towards the bathroom and answered, “such scum will never disappear. What we can do is continue to strive to eliminate them. If possible, find the real masterminds and rid of them.”Both girls nodded to that and watched as Elowyn stripped herself clean before entering the bathroom.“I think that we should start looking into the law enforcement as well. If we can’t afford to reveal ourselves, then at least getting rid of these filthy people, who use the law for their own wishes, would suffice. At least, we will be able to discreetly send evidence to them and let them do the job on our behal
