24. Truth

"Welcome, young alpha. It has been long since I got a visitor on these parts. I was not even sure that the link would work. You were so young when I placed the mark on you," Nana spoke as she ushered Ravi inside her humble abode.

It was a cave that was situated on the northern side of the middle of the forest. If anyone didn't know that it was there, they wouldn't even guess. Ravi, being a warlock, knew that there was magic at work. He looked at the intricacies of the spell and he was sure that he could break it without a sweat. It was so simple and old school.

The entrance was covered by foliage that looked like part of the forest and Ravi suspected that that was done on purpose so as to hide it. When Nana came out to get him, he didn't even see her until she was standing next to him.

That was the first time anyone had pulled one on him because he could always smell a wolf miles away.

"You haven't been training, have you?" She asked instead of greeting.

"The alpha doesn't allow m
