35. There Was Still More Time

I went home in a splint because I already missed my mate. Oh, that word rolled nicely in my tongue and I tried it again.

My mate.

Joe was my mate.

How wonderful! I was grinning like an idiot.

When I got to the mansion, the Luna was raising hell. It had been long since I had seen her like this and I kinda missed it. This was what she did best anyway.

"Why is he like this? It's because you no longer discipline him. Look at how he has grown horns.

For example, where is he now? He is never around when I want to send him somewhere," the Luna lamented and her husband was standing there looking at her.

"Have you checked in his room? Maybe he is resting?" The alpha asked.

Ravi stood there hidden in his bubble thinking of ways he could punish them. Alpha Philip's head looked so nice for a clobbering and the Luna? the Luna, mmmm... he could make the Luna hop around while croaking like a frog.
