Moon let go of me the moment Miracle shifted. It was all weird. So strange. So different. So impossible. I was short of words. What the hell just happened?

I witnessed it. Miracle was all wrapped up in the fire, raised from the ground, howling at the Moon. The next moment, she was eating it. She just ate that shit or whatsoever it was, to begin with.

The most insane thing about all this mess was that she was fine. Not even a single burn. Not a single scratch. She looked like a newly polished mirror. Was I even saying it right? My words and sentences appeared jumbled. Well, not my fault. It was the situation.

And now, Viviana was here. She lay unconscious in my arms, and naked too. I felt like transported back in time. It happened before. That Forest of the city. She was like this that day too. I saw her mark for the first time.

My eyes followed her curves and landed on her mark. It was glowing. Same as the other da
