After three more hours of reading I finished the first book. Well that's one book down. Four more to go. I immediately took the Sea of Monsters and continued my reading adventure.It was getting to five o'clock and I was beginning to get tired. The book was nice and all, but I needed to do something else. I was beginning to feel dizzy. I put the book down and went to my room. I walked to the window and opened the curtain.Looking out at the woods at this time is not half as creepy as when it's in the night. I really want to try and forget what I saw two nights ago. Damon stood there, all sweaty and breathless.He walked over to me in the fireplace.He bent down and took my hands and carefully pulled me out of the small space, my left arm hurting slightly as he did so. When I stood up my knees buckled because I had been in that position for quite a while and blood flow had sorta ceased.I wasn't about to fall down but my legs did wobble so I put my arms on his shoulders to steady myself as his hands also grabbed onto my waist holding me in place.I looked up to see his scorching blue eyes looking back down at mine. His eyes roamed my body and my face for a minute before he spoke."Are you alright?" His voice was very low and he actually managed to look concerned. And I found myself falling for it. His eyes flashed a bright blue before he stood there staring at me wide eyed. He raised his eyebrows waiting for my answer."Adriane." I said as he came to the couch and sat down beside me.He offered me his glass.I shook my head gently saying no. He smiled and shrugged and took a sip of his drink."Well, Adriane, I haven't seen you around here before, so I guess you are from the new pack that joined?" he asked me, turning his head and looking at me while flipping some of his bangs off his forehead."Yeah." I said turning to look at the television. I wanted to avoid any uncomfortable stares. I'm an awkward person."What are you doing up so late?" He asked me whilst taking another sip of his juice. Someone sure likes asking questions."Couldn't sleep." I simply shrugged.And now, I don't think I will be able to be with someone here, engaging me in a conversation."Me too." he responded.We sat in awkward silence for a while, well it was awkward for me, until I started to feel sleepy.I turned to look at him and saw that his eyes were closed.He's asleep, good.

He introduced himself in a somewhat Mexican accent and making an 'r' sound at the end of his name. I'd never heard that name being pronounced like that before but it intrigued me.I smiled.He had brown hair that was slightly falling onto his forehead and faded at the sides.He had light brown eyes and a nice smile."Hi, I'm Adriane. I love your accent. I'm guessing you're from Mexico?" I said trying to start a conversation.In that split second his eyes lit up like a Christmas tree.He smiled an all white tooth bearing smile and snapped his head toward Mavis who was staring at me with her jaw dropped.What's going on?"Ha! I told you someone would fall for it. You owe me twenty bucks." Antonio now said in a completely normal unforced American accent."I can't believe you just fell for thatAdriane, seriously?" So where were we? Ah yes, what a lucky girl I am. Did I remember to mention that he literally came in with so much force that he knocked the door of its hinges? Well he did. That seemed to snap reality into Ryan. He shot up from his seat on the sofa and quickly did a bow thing. And I just stayed rooted in place. "Uh Alpha, what are you-I mean what can I help- uh ... He looked nervous, not necessarily because he had done something bad, because we actually weren't doing anything. But because of the look that was coming from the Alpha that was trained solely on him I looked over at Damon and his eyes were glowing an unusual bright blue and he looked angrier than usual, and that's saying a lot.
