“Wait, WHAT?!” I yelled again, completely dumbfounded as Nikolai left Andre to focus on me.

My eyes were wide and I could feel my throat getting dry, making me realize that I was going to need a lot more than some water to regain the moisture.

Really, what? There was no way I heard that right. There was no way that Nikolai just said I was pregnant.

How could I be? How can I be pregnant and how could he know before me?

The words kept ringing in my head over and over again but my brain still couldn’t comprehend it and I still couldn’t wrap my head around what I’d just heard.
