Arielle’s POV

The rest of the morning passed slowly after Richard left my side. He had walked me to my office door, before he finally left.

He had even held my hand all the way down to my office. The patients who had arrived had definitely gotten a look at the both of us, and for sure I had an idea that they would be gossiping about me and their Alpha for the rest of the day.

I sighed to myself as the last patient for the morning left the office that day. It was already half past 2pm, and I didn’t expect to see any other patient for the day unless it was an emergency. Therefore I had the rest of my time to relax, and I was going to use it well.

I bitmy lip as I began to flip through the patients files that I needed to sign off on. It would take me a long time to deal with this. Perhaps I should take a break, I thought to myself.
