Second Task Done

Richard’s POV:

As soon as I knocked on Ethan’s bedroom door, I prepared myself for the way he would respond. Despite him no longer being a Rogue, and even standing in as a witness at my insistence for Arielle’s sake, I knew very well that he did not like me. However, he loved Arielle and would do anything to protect her from any perceived threats.

That was what made him the best person for this job I was going to give him.

The door opened after a few moments, and I was faced with a scowling face of Ethan.

“What,” he started before I even opened my mouth, “the fuck do you want, Alpha?”
