Selene's POV

After I confirmed that Ethan really did send the divorce papers to Alpha Dimitri, I felt the blood leave my face.

My stomach twisted, and my fingers went cold.

“Why would he do that? I didn’t tell him to send it to Victor’s father. I never asked for that.”

Ethan's Beta, Daniel, let out a sigh. “Princess Selene… it’s done. And honestly? It’s not your problem anymore.”

My head snapped toward him. “Not my problem?”

“He hurt you, Selene. He humiliated you for another woman. You don't owe him anything.”

I shook my head. “You don’t understand.”

“I understand perfectly.”

“No, you don’t!” I shouted. “His father, he doesn’t care about healing or right or wrong. All he cares about is power. Control. Status. If he thinks Victor has made the family look weak, he’ll…” I stopped.

I didn’t need to say the rest.

Daniel’s lips pressed into a tight line. “So what do you want me to do now? The papers are already sent. There's nothing anyone can do.”

"I need to come up with a plan. I can't

  • The Rejected Luna,The Hidden Heiress   Chapter 44

Selene's POV Ever since I left the Nightshade Pack with Daniella, I had been drowning in sorrow. No matter how much I told myself to let it go, my heart kept returning to the same moment. The second Victor looked me in the eye and refused to answer my question about rejecting Camilla. He could make promises, kiss me, beg until his throat bled—none of it mattered if he hadn’t rejected her.He had only exiled her, as if driving her out of the pack meant severing their connection. But they were still bound. And that bond wasn’t just a detail, it was everything. If he truly loved me like he said, why didn’t he break it? Why didn’t he reject her?His touches still lingered on my skin. His whispers echoed in my mind every night I closed my eyes. I hated myself for how much I still wanted him. I hated how easily I melted when he pulled me close.I hated him for making it so hard to forget. But more than anything, I hated the weakness in me because I was supposed to be cold and numb towards

  • The Rejected Luna,The Hidden Heiress   Chapter 43

Victor's POV “She's really going with them,” I said in a low, flat voice.I stood at the top of the stairs, still wet from the mess upstairs, gripping the wooden rail so hard it cracked under my fingers. Below, I watched Selene walking out of the mansion with Daniella at her side and two of the prince’s warriors flanking her like bodyguards. They didn’t even glance back.No one looked at me. Not even her.“This is ridiculous,” I spat under my breath. “She's still my wife.”I started down the steps, ignoring the pain in my ribs. The wounds hadn’t fully healed, but I didn’t care.Vanessa hurried up beside me, her voice high and shaky. “Victor! Did you see that? They just walked out! Like they owned this place!”“Shut up, Vanessa,” I snapped. “I'm not feeling very patient right now.”“Excuse me?”I ignored her and kept walking until I got to the front door.My guards stood stiff by the gates, watching Selene disappear down the path and none of them moved. “Why are you all just standing

  • The Rejected Luna,The Hidden Heiress   Chapter 42

Daniella's POV I had to immediately inform Prince Ethan that Selene had gone to Nightshade Pack because I couldn't keep the information hidden. He was so mad at me for letting her go, so as soon as he gave me the order, I didn’t waste a second.I shifted into my wolf form, letting the familiar crack of bones and heat of power wash over me. My claws hit the ground running. My sole objective was to follow the princess and make sure she was safe.Selene had really gone to Victor’s territory, and she wasn’t thinking straight. She never did when it came to him, and I knew that better than anyone.I tried to stay hidden in the trees, careful not to draw attention. If Victor’s guards spotted me, they wouldn’t hesitate to attack first and ask questions later. But none of that mattered when I caught Selene's scent. I followed it through the thick forest, along the cracked stone paths, past the packhouses. My heart hammered harder with every step. When I arrived at Victor’s mansion, I quickly

Selene's POV Victor's gaze stayed locked on mine, dark and intense. "Selene," he whispered, my name sounding like a prayer on his lips. "Please, Victor, get off me.”“I can’t. I have wanted you for so long.” His voice was rough, almost broken, as he reached out, tucking a wet strand of hair behind my ear. His touch burned. Even with the hot water pouring down, his fingers felt hotter.“Tell me,” he breathed, his forehead grazing mine. "Tell me you don’t feel this… attraction between us."I opened my mouth to argue, but then Victor silenced me with a forceful kiss that made the world spin. I gasped, pushing against his chest, but he wouldn't relent. His body trapped mine under him, water splashing wildly around us.His lips were wild and desperate, tasting of anger and longing."No, Victor. Stop!" I tried to fight him off, but in that moment, his hands suddenly cupped my breasts, squeezing, teasing and brushing over my most sensitive spot. I jolted under him, a traitorous moan sli

Selene's POV "Let me fucking go!" I snapped, pushing at Victor’s chest.“Do you really think you can just leave me?” Victor asked sharply. “Just walk out like it means nothing?”I pushed harder at him, kicking my legs, but he pinned me down with his weight, holding me under him like I was his prisoner.“Victor, get off…”“No,” he growled. “You’re not going anywhere. Not yet. Not like this. You’re my wife, for crying out loud.”“I am not! Not anymore. You lost me the day you chose her."His jaw tightened. "You think your precious prince is going to treat you better than I did? He’ll just use you, Selene. He’ll enjoy you for a moment, then toss you aside. He doesn’t truly care about you.”"You know nothing about him!" I shouted, twisting in his grip, my heart racing. "You’re just jealous!"In my thoughts, I believed that my brother would never be like Victor because royal blood cared about emotions. They didn’t oppress the weak. They didn’t treat Omegas like dirt just because they coul

Victor's POV I kept repeating the question in my head, trying to find some part of it that didn’t feel real. But it was real.“She really sent them,” I whispered.Abel didn’t answer. He just stood there, quiet, his face unreadable. At that moment, another guard stepped into the office, looking pale.“What now?” I asked, not even bothering to sound polite. The guard’s voice shook. “He’s… also here.”I frowned. “Who?”The guard looked right at me. “Your father, Alpha Dimitri.”The room froze. I didn’t even blink. I felt the change in the air. The heaviness.Abel cursed under his breath and stepped in front of me a little, like he already knew what was coming.“Alpha Victor,” he said in a low voice, “you need to leave. I’ll come up with an excuse, buy you time.”I shook my head slowly. “No.”“Victor…”“No,” I said again, louder. “I’m not running from him.”Abel clenched his jaw but he didn’t argue. He just gave me a slow nod and stepped aside.Outside the door, I could hear two voices r

  • The Rejected Luna,The Hidden Heiress   Chapter 37

Victor's POV I sat in my office with the door locked and the curtains pulled shut. The room was very quiet, but my chest… it wasn’t. My heart was beating fast, like I had just run a mile. My hands were on the desk, but they wouldn’t stay still. I kept tapping. Kept clenching my fists. Then I would stop. Then do it again. All I could think about was Selene. She could have ruined me tonight. She could have pointed at me and screamed. She could have let the prince order my arrest, let me get dragged through the mud in front of everyone. But she didn’t.Instead, she defended me. She looked me in the eye, and even with tears running down her cheeks, she bravely stood up for me. And that meant something.I leaned back in my chair, closing my eyes. That woman still loved me. She might say she didn’t. She might act cold. But she wouldn’t have stood there and taken the blame if she didn’t still feel something.I could feel it in the way she shook, the way her voice cracked, the way she didn’

  • The Rejected Luna,The Hidden Heiress   Chapter 36

Selene's POV I quickly pushed Victor away so fast that he nearly stumbled back. My chest was rising, my shirt wrinkled from his grip, and my lips were swollen. When I looked up… I froze.Standing at the edge of the alley, under the flickering street lamp, was a man. Not just any man. Anthony. The same one who spoke to me briefly at the banquet. He wasn’t smiling now. His jaw was tight. His eyes—judging, confused, sharp.Victor didn’t move, just turned his head lazily and looked at Anthony like he was swatting a fly.“You? What are you doing here?” Victor asked with that deep Alpha tone that made everything around us shrink.Anthony stepped forward slowly, his arms crossed. “What do you think you’re doing?”Victor sighed, brushing his sleeves like he had done nothing wrong. “Having a moment. With my wife.”I took a shaky step back, my cheeks burning. “This isn’t what it looked like.”Anthony ignored me, his eyes locked on Victor. “It didn’t look like she wanted it.”Victor chuckled, s
