LOGINAriana Wait… was Damian suspecting me? Like was he really suspecting me of sabotaging them?“I don’t understand, are you thinking I tried to sabotage this?” I asked in surprise. Was he being for real? He didn’t even respond to me. Right. He made it clear that he was only going to question me once.“I didn’t. I didn’t tell Liam about anything.” I replied begrudgingly.“I believe her,” Damian said, surprising even me. I thought he now doubted everything, and this witch hunt was the most important thing to him.“But Alpha…” Kira tried to say and I turned swiftly to glare hard at her. What was she on about? Is there something I’m missing? “No buts Kira. We would all return to the car now and figure out the next step on our way out of here.” Damian said and we all walked back to the car in silence. By the time we got back to the car, it was already so late, and the skies were clouding, as if rain was about to fall.“Kira I’d drop you off first and then you’re next Cassius,” Damian anno
Ariana “What do you mean it’s not there? What’s not there exactly?” Damian asked impatiently but I just kept mute. What could I even say? How was this possible? I can clearly remember that a black door handle was supposed to be here so where was it? Why wasn’t it here now? “Ari, say something.” Damian pressured. “I…I don’t know Damian but there is supposed to be a black handle right here on the ground but it’s not there.” I said and he looked puzzled.“A black door handle?” He asked, as if to confirm he had heard me correctly.“Yes Damian, a black door handle. I’m very sure of it, it’s a tiny door handle that is very easy to miss but I’ve looked long and hard enough and it’s not there.”“I can’t find it at all… It’s just like it disappeared.” I said. “WOW, this is very strange. How is it possible that the door magically disappeared? I’ve never heard of anything like this before.” Cassius said and Kira nodded.“I swear I’d be so pissed if I find out you’re messing with me, Arian
Ariana:I went into the room and changed into a free top and a pair of trousers. I wanted to wear a gown but I think I’d be more comfortable with this, you never know what can happen. After being satisfied with my look, I strolled downstairs to see that Cassius and Kira had arrived. They were all in the middle of a serious discussion.I continued to walk down the stairs anyway and the next second all eyes turned to me. Great. Now it’s time for them to watch me like I was some kind of movie. “Luna, you’re here. Welcome, we were just discussing.” Kira said, standing up to bow her head. Kira, she was the new Gamma of the pack. Actually, the first female Gamma this pack has ever had. A position Riley was seriously vying for. She was pretty and all that but something about her felt off and this wasn’t about me not liking her because I felt she stole Riley’s position. No, I think she actually deserved it since she earned it fair and square. She just seemed so odd to me for some reason.
Ariana“What’s up? You ended the call suddenly. I thought something bad must have happened.” I said to Damian as I rushed into the living room.He was seated on one of the chairs with his legs sprawled out. He looked very worried, as if he had discovered something mind-boggling. I dropped my coat on the chair and sat down, facing him directly. What the hell was going on? Did something else happen? He looked so worried.“You’re not saying anything. Talk to me, I left work and rushed here before my closing hours.” I said slightly angry that he was keeping mute. After the call, I just rushed out and came back to the house directly and now he wasn’t even talking. I didn’t even tell anyone I was leaving. Didn’t take any excuse, nothing and I might even be sanctioned for that. “I’m sorry, my head is just all over the place.” He said and sighed. “We need to act fast… I need to find that half witch you talked about and you’re going to take us there today.” He said, making my eyes go wild in
ArianaWe headed into the grounding room quietly. It was a part of the hospital that was rarely used, and right now, it was quiet in a way that felt intentional, as if the walls themselves knew something was about to happen. “We’re here,” I announced as we stepped into the room fully. I watched as they looked around studying the environment. There were soft moonstone lamps lined around the corners of the room. The air smelled faintly of sage, lavender, and crushed moon petals, a calming herb meant to soothe a restless wolf without forcing submission.“Mrs Wolfe, please sit here,” I said gently, guiding her toward the low cushioned mat at the center of the room. “Cross your legs if you can because for this session, comfort is really important,” I said and she obeyed immediately, smoothing her skirt as she settled down.Adrian however didn’t sit down and just hovered near the doorway like a guard dog unsure whether to relax or stay alert.“You can sit too, Adrian,” I added without l
ArianaThe patients knocked before pushing the door open, and to my surprise, it was Attorney Adrian Wolfe and his mother. They were really visiting this pack all the way from their faraway pack because of me? “Mrs Wolfe. What a pleasant surprise.” I said standing up. “Please have a seat and make yourself comfortable,” I said once she drew closer. “Thank you very much, Luna Ariana.” She said before settling into one of the seats with the help of her son. She looked a lot better than the last time. Her dark circles were no longer there and that was the number one indication that she at least no longer had sleepless nights. She didn’t look so slim anymore either.“Good morning Mrs Ariana.” Adrian greeted me calmly, making me glance his way. He was wearing a neutral expression on his face not like last time he wore a frown all through.“Good morning Adrian,” I replied curtly. Even though our meeting last time wasn’t so pleasant, it looked like he was ready to be civil today.“So tell
