Ariana

Damian was still in the shower when I stepped inside. I quietly placed my bag on the table, stripped off my clothes, and picked up my towel and robe.

I wanted to take a shower myself but I couldn’t do that with Damian in the same bathroom.

After all, I’ve been avoiding having sex with him all this time. I finished showering and returned to the room.

Damian was already out as well and he had his back to me. “You’re back,” he said and I stiffened.

He could smell me, he knew I was here.

Ariana “What compromise?” I asked Damian. This better be good, because I knew Damian, and I learned quite well that with him, nothing goes for nothing.“Let’s just say that you will do everything you want from now on and we will work on our relationship together.”“You’ve loved me for so long and we’ve been together for a while, I’m already so used to your presence, how could I ever do life without you now?” Oh, so this was the compromise he was talking about? Do whatever I wanted in exchange for us still being together? Very laughable. He couldn’t even say he loved me or had any iota of feelings for me. He only mentioned how I’ve loved him for so long and how he was used to my presence. It was indeed true when they said, being available for someone anytime they need you sometimes cheapens your value to them.“This is not a compromise, this is madness and you still want to dictate how everything would go in this so-called compromise.” I fired at him. “Please Ari, don’t make this di

  • The Rejected Luna’s Rise    Chapter 84: Reach A Compromise

Ariana “About the fact that you’re trying to sell your family’s heirloom.” I heard Damian say and I froze. How did he know that? I covered my tracks very well. I never mentioned it to Riley or anyone so how did he find out?“What the hell are you talking about? Truly, I’m so confused.” I said feigning ignorance like I didn’t know what he was talking about.Let’s even assume he got wind of it through one of the auction houses we have been to, since he was the Alpha after all. I was just going to deny, deny, and deny everything. There was no way he could be certain, maybe he had heard some gossip and only wanted to confirm his suspicions so I would just deny it. “You don’t have to lie about it, I’ve known about it for a while now. My only question is why are you even willing to sell such a precious item?” He questioned.I think I am going insane right now. He knew all along?? But how? I was so confused.“Can you let go please, you’re suffocating me holding me so tightly,” I begged.

  • The Rejected Luna’s Rise    Chapter 83: Catching Up With Mirabel

Ariana “Mirabel” I screamed. She was really here in the flesh!! It’s really her.“Oh my goodness, Mirabel, it’s really you,” I said, hugging her tightly. I knew I was suffocating her by squeezing her like this but I couldn’t help it. I was really really emotional. “Can you unhand me for a moment? You’re squeezing the life out of me.” She said and I laughed before freeing her from the hug. “It’s really good to see you, Ariana. You have no idea how much I’ve missed you. Gosh, I’ve missed you so so much.” She said, cleaning tears off her eyes. “I missed you too, you have no idea.” She led me to the couch where we settled down together.Damian was still in the room but we were too lost in our own world to pay him any attention.“I think you both need a bottle of chilled wine for this discussion and catching up,” Damian said and disappeared to go get it.Mirabel was a very strong and gifted she-wolf and she was very well known at one point too. Although she was older than I was, she w

  • The Rejected Luna’s Rise    Chapter 82: Someone Shocking

Ariana “What are you up to now and what surprise are you talking about?” I sighed tiredly. With Damian, it was always something new, and I knew quite well that he wasn’t here for any pack-related business. He was here because of me even though he had refused to admit it. “You’d see but just promise me you’d follow me to my suite after work.” He said.“No, the hospital already booked a comfortable place for me to stay throughout my time here. I’m very comfortable and happy with it.” I replied calmly. He looked at me for some time then smiled as if an idea suddenly struck him.“You know I could just tell the Alpha of this pack that my Luna has been here undercover and I’d like her to be with me tonight.” He said pretending like he was deep in thought while looking at me from the corners of his eyes.Ughhh… damn him. He wanted to corner me till I had no other choice but to say no.“Okay, I will. But I don’t want you interfering with my work next time.” I said defeatedly.“Yes, I won’t

  • The Rejected Luna’s Rise    Chapter 81: Was That Damian?

Ariana It’s been a whole week since I found the DNA results confirming that Damian was really the father of Lily’s child. I’d spend long hours at the office and work until dark so that I could avoid him. Not like he was coming home anyway but I just didn’t want a case where I’ll meet him when I get home. Whenever I got home I was already tired and would just sleep off as soon as I finished bathing. It was a nice little routine though and it made living in this house a bit bearable. I was still hoping to get the money soon so I could leave for good though. The last auction house I went to, the owner suddenly called and said he didn’t want to do business with my brother. I was confused and wanted to ask him what was the reason for his sudden decision but I didn’t want to give too much away so I just accepted it in good faith. But ever since then, no auction house was willing to accept our heirloom. Like over 30 auction houses had rejected the piece and it was meant to be somethin

Damian “Mom, why did you still go behind my back to see and threaten Lily? I thought I told you guys to steer clear of her and her child? This is insane.” I said angrily as soon as I entered the house. Lily had called me earlier crying hysterically. I had to find a way to calm her down despite several attempts. It took a while but she finally calmed down. She had told me that shortly after I left her at the hospital entrance, someone had come to look for her and informed her that my mother was waiting for her at a cafe across the street. She said she thought it was supposed to be a nice little meeting, but Mom had embarrassed her, insulted her and her family, and disgraced her inside the cafe.I was pissed, didn’t they promise to leave Lily and her child alone? Why was she going back on her word now, this was the reason I came to confront her.Mom didn’t even bother to look at me and Riley just looked so focused on her work. “MOM” I yelled.“Do you intend to bring the roof down

Ariana“What are you doing here?” I questioned Damian immediately as I stepped outside. It was bad enough that he was disturbing me at work hours so I dragged him back into the car. At least we’ll have better privacy here. “Is that how you say Hi to your mate?” He asked with a smile on his face.G

Ariana“Whatttt??? What did you just say?” I asked hastily.“The Blood Oath Binding Ritual.” He repeated. He probably thought I hadn’t just heard correctly but no. I had even fact heard him loud and clear. I was just surprised. I was really surprised. There was someone else who had done the blood o

Ariana I was still looking at him eagerly. Waiting for him to share his story with me. I’ve never been one to pry on people’s lives but for some unknown reason, I really wanted to know about this. “So…” he began.“I met my wife in a meeting. It was just an attraction at first but I didn't approa

  • The Rejected Luna’s Rise    Chapter 36: A Story To Be Told

Ariana I slept and woke up the next day refreshed more than ever. Damian didn’t come home last night and I was guessing it was because he was tending to Lily.Whatever, I didn’t care about their business any longer. My major concern was how to get out of this sham.I quickly took my bath and set o
