Chapter 8

AFTER A FEW MINUTES

We arrived at the door of the tower room after going through numerous tunnels. My father's palace or should I say mansion was big – in fact, big was an understatement, enormous was the right word to describe the mansion. There were so many places inside the mansion that I have never been to in my 19 years of living there. There were places that I didn't even know existed.

The tower room, for example, I've heard about it from my mother one certain time when she was telling me a story about how she and my father would sneak in there to do teenage love stuff when they were younger and hadn't gotten married to each other yet. Yeah, I know what you are thinking but my mother is like that, she liked to reminisce about the time when she was younger to me because according to her I could learn from her mistakes so she never missed a chance to tell me her story.

The young maiden knocked on the door and whispered, "Open up the door. I am here with Alpha's daughter."
