The courtyard of Blackwood’s mansion held its breath. Mira’s gasp still lingered in the crisp air like the fading chime of a bell.

The maids stood rooted to the spot, wide-eyed, as though they had just witnessed an omen whispered from the Moon Goddess herself.

Seraphina’s hand rested elegantly against her stomach, her chin lifted in smug satisfaction.

She had chosen her stage well: the open courtyard, Becca’s own maids, Mira by her side. She hadn’t simply arrived with a request. She had arrived with a performance.

And Becca, caught off guard, had nearly stumbled into her trap.

Her throat was dry when she finally found her voice.

“Seraphina,” she said evenly, her tone carefully measured, “I am not the physician assigned to you. You should see your usual healer for such an examination.”

Her gaze locked with Seraphina’s, reading the gleam in her dark eyes.

There was a game being played here, and Becca was not naïve enough to believe otherwise.

  • The Rejected Omega's Redemption    Whispers of Yesterday

The sun rose gently over Blackwood, brushing the rooftops of the pack town with a soft golden glow. Morning bells chimed in the distance, summoning townsfolk to open their shops, sweep their front yards, and begin another day of ordinary life under extraordinary circumstances. Yet beneath the mundane hum of daily tasks, the people carried with them whispers of yesterday’s spectacle, Becca’s cold command, the man’s cries as he was dragged off to the prison yard, and the sharp reminder that this Luna was no longer a woman to be mocked. It was day two of the medical outreach, and the mansion’s courtyard bustled with preparation. Wooden crates filled with herbs, jars, and carefully wrapped bandages were loaded onto carts. The maids, clad in simple gray dresses, carried bundles of supplies, their chatter low but laced with curiosity.Becca emerged from the side wing of the mansion, her dark hair tied in a practical braid that trailed down her back. She wore a pale blue gown, not overly

  • The Rejected Omega's Redemption    Rouges At the Border

The halls of the Blackwood mansion stretched endlessly, their candle-lit torches throwing long shadows across polished stone. Portraits of past Alphas, stern and watchful, loomed over every turn. The silence of the place was heavy, broken only by the echo of two pairs of boots striking against the marble floor.Alpha Eugene walked with his hands clasped behind his back, his every stride deliberate and commanding. Max, his face mirroring the stiff atmosphere, kept pace at his side. Max’s sharp eyes scanned the tapestries lining the corridor, though his mind was clearly elsewhere. His jaw tightened before he finally broke the silence.“Eugene,” Max began, his voice steady but edged with concern as he picked up his pace to keep up with his Alpha, “we’ve picked up more reports of suspicious rogue movements near the eastern border. It’s not just scattered attacks anymore. Their patterns look… organized.”Eugene’s gaze flicked toward him, brows knitting. “Organized?” His tone carried tha

  • The Rejected Omega's Redemption    The Intercepted Path

The streets of Blackwood’s pack town thrummed with restless energy that day. Midday light poured down in beams through the canopy of swaying trees, but the warmth of the sun could not melt the chill of unease in the air. Merchants raised their voices with forced cheer, calling out prices for fresh bread and woven cloth. Children darted in between the legs of their elders, their laughter bright but tinged with nervousness whenever a warrior in armor strode by. Even the smell of roasting meat moving from the corner stalls seemed unable to mask the metallic tang of fear that clung to the town.Everyone felt it, the storm brewing between Alphas Desmond and Eugene.Whispers traveled faster than the wind. People loyal to each Alpha sharpened their claws and their tongues alike. The people knew better than to speak openly of an internal pack war, but silence carried its own message. A strained hush lurked beneath every exchange, like a drumbeat waiting for the strike.Jack felt it most o

  • The Rejected Omega's Redemption    The Medicine of Compassion

The marketplace at the center of Blackwood’s pack town was alive with its usual hum of voices.Becca stood near a long wooden table that had been carefully set up beneath a wide tent of cloth. Around her were neatly stacked baskets of wrapped herbs, glass bottles of healing tinctures, and bowls of steaming soup. Beside her, Mira directed three of her handpicked maids, each one carrying wooden trays filled with small clay cups of medicine to be distributed among the pack members who had formed a long queue.“Make sure each family receives enough for their children,” Mira reminded them firmly, her presence radiant and commanding as always. Becca, on the other hand, moved with quiet precision. She leaned down to hand a small jar of ointment to an elderly woman whose fingers trembled with age.“This will ease the pain in your joints,” Becca said softly, her voice gentle as she met the woman’s cloudy eyes. “Rub it in morning and night. If you still feel pain in a week, come back to me.”

  • The Rejected Omega's Redemption    Whispers in the Halls

The next morning, the Blackwood mansion was alive with rumors.Servants walked through the corridors, their voices pitched low, though the words they shared carried far. Becca could feel their eyes follow her as she moved. Each glance, each whisper seemed to burn at her back. Word had spread faster than wildfire, Kaelyn and Kyra had left the mansion in the dead of night. And everyone knew why.Becca clenched her jaw, her grip tightening on the basket she carried.Beside her, Mira walked close by, her face tight with fury. “Unbelievable,” Mira muttered, breaking the tense silence between them. “After everything you did for her—this is how she repays you? By clawing for what isn’t hers?”Becca sighed, a long, weary breath that seemed to come from the depths of her bones. “I don’t want to think about Kaelyn anymore, Mira. She made her choice, and Kyra followed her. It hurts, yes, but… I’m done.”Mira’s lips pressed into a thin line. “Done or not, you deserved loyalty, you deserved r
