“I would go and confront the traitor, Maziar Brennan, all by myself!”
My words were instantly shunned with exasperated gasps from everyone, most especially my mate, Allyssa Lausanne. She jerked out of my arms with shaken standpoint.
“What are you talking about? You know very well that I would never let you do this without me by your side. What were you thinking, huh, Amante?”
Her voice were filled with disappointments and disbelief. I have already anticipated her extreme reactions way before I have even got the chance to voice out my perceptions on the problems we were facing because of Maziar.
