Chapter Fifty-Three

Savage

Finally reaching home, I rush to my babies as they cry out and crawl towards me. Crying as I drop to my knees. “When did you start crawling?” I whimper out as Lily and Auntie Skyler approach with smiles. “They just started crawling.”

“Thank you two so much for helping with these two. I feel like a horrible mother leaving them, but I would feel even worse if I didn't try to bring Alena home.”

Lily and Auntie Skyler exchange a knowing glance before Lily speaks up, her voice soft and reassuring. “You're not a horrible mother, Savage. You're doing everything you can to protect your family, and we admire your courage and strength. We'll take care of the babies while you prepare for what's to come.”

Auntie Skyler nods in agreement, her gaze gentle yet filled with determination. “We know that the final trial will be the greatest challenge yet, but we believe in you, Savage. You have the power of the elders now, and with your mates by your side, there's nothing you can't overcome.”
