MasukAria’s POV
Alpha Gregory shouldn't be in my pack, especially when he knows that I have ascended to the alpha position. He should have been scared of the outcome, but he didn't. Instead, he came right here just the way he had always done to see Lana.
I approached them, each memory of the torment I experienced from them flashing into my heart like venom. It is so painful, and right there, nothing came to my mind but to humiliate him in front of all the people present in the club.
Gregory deserves more than that from me.
As I stood in front of them and Lana lifted her head, a smirk appeared on her lips. She scanned me from head to toe, her eyes filled with hatred as if she would pluck out my limbs if she were opportuned.
However, she wouldn't dare do that since she knows the consequences. If it were back at the Silverclaw pack, she wouldn't have hesitated to pick on me.
Gregory, on the other hand, has his eyes pierced into my skin like a predator. His aura dominated the atmosphere, giving it the evil vibe it always does. In his eyes, there is nothing but disgust, hatred, and anger.
“What is this omega doing here?”
He mocked, spitting the red wine in his hand. Since he wouldn't order me around like in his pack, he resorted to picking on me. But that was the mistake he didn't know he was making. Nobody dares pick up on me now that I have become the leader of the pack.
Nina tapped my bicep, but I ignored her. The only person who should be afraid of Gregory was me, but I wasn't. Not anymore.
“Who gave you the permit to step into my pack, Gregory?”
Confusingly, Gregory and Lana exchanged glances. His face was painted with the shame of embarrassment. But he hadn't seen anything yet.
“What are you doing here?”
Lana scowled, placing her wine glass on the table. She looked up, eyes glinting in mischief.
‘We’d better get out of here,’
Liza shuddered, pacing uncomfortably in my mind.
To leave was before. Right now, I am no longer a weakling.
“Pour,”
Gregory commanded, pointing at his glass cup on the desk. He was expecting me to refill his empty cup the way I always did back at the pack. His action at that moment made me wonder if Gregory didn't know yet that I am the alpha, or if he was only trying to make a fool out of me.
“I said you should pour!”
His commanding tone resonated in the building, and to be honest, it made my heart flap like wings. My knees would have started to wobble, and I would have fallen to the floor. But I stood still, eyes fixated on him with hatred.
My eyes caught Lana resting her hand on the back of his hand. She taped it gently, her eyes directed towards me.
Gregory didn't need to be told what she meant by that before retracting his gaze from me.
“To me, she is still the omega who served and entertained us.”
That word struck me deep like a dagger. It made my saliva bitter, and my gut painful. Nevertheless, that wasn't a big deal. It wasn't like he could walk all over me and go scot free anymore.
I stepped closer to the table, lowered myself, and picked up the wine bottle. My eyes were fixed on him with a broad smile on my face. He wanted the wine, so I would give him the wine in a good way.
“Allow me,”
Gregory picked the cup, holding it towards me in disgust.
I flipped the cap Lana’s way, and it did well by hitting her on the face.
“Oops! My bad.”
I covered my mouth with two fingers, giggling at her.
Lana furiously sprang up, pointing a finger at me.
I ignored her, turned towards Gregory, whose hand was still stretched towards me, ready for a drink. My eyes went from the cup to his face, then an idea crept into my head. I stepped a bit closer to him, brushing his hand with my waist.
He furrowed his brows into a frown, but I cared not. So, before he could grab my waist the way he had always done, I lifted my hand and turned over the bottle on his head. The wine swooshed all over his body, staining his white shirt.
“What are you doing?”
Lana’s loud gasp echoed in the room, drawing everyone’s attention to us. Everything, including the music, died down, turning the atmosphere into dead silence like a graveyard.
Gregory’s eyes were widened in shock, and he was frozen on the sofa.
“Do you now see how it feels to be embarrassed?"
I placed the empty bottle on the table, chuckling. To say I was excited at that moment, seeing Gregory in that state, was an understatement. I was over the moon, and I wished there was something else to do to him again.
‘Are you nuts?’
Liza paced restlessly, her tails flapping behind her.
‘He is going to kill us, Aria! You shouldn't have done that.’
“Aria, we are doomed. Let's get out of here!”
Nina whispered, brushing her trembling hand with mine. She wanted to grab hold of my hand and drag me out of the clubhouse, but I wasn’t going to leave.
I am not a coward who is enticed by anyone. Gregory is an Alpha, and so am I. I am ready to let him know that I was not the Aria they all bullied in his pack.
‘Do you even have the strength to fight?’
Liza asked, still restless.
No, no strength to fight, but my mouth is sharp, and with just a few words from me, I was certain he would crawl out of my pack.
Gregory finally regained his senses. He wiped the remaining liquid on his face, gently got up on his feet, his height so long like that of a giant.
He reached for a towel on the table, cleaned his hair, and dumped the dirty towel on the floor, then looked at me.
“You’ve grown wings, Aria,”
His face muffled, and the moment he got a hold of my wrist, a loud thud pierced my ears.
My eyes shut instantly, and my heartbeat increased. Surprisingly, I didn't feel any pain, nor do I feel any tingling sensation on my face or ear.
When my eyes parted, Gregory wasn't holding my hand anymore, he was on the sofa, his eyes as red as a flame.
Before I could turn around to find out what made him fall to the sofa, a heavy hand dropped on my shoulders.
It was so heavy that it could have dipped me into the ground if my legs were pointed and sharp like a needle. Fears gripped me, but not for long. His cologne filled the air, making me realize who it was.
“Are you hurt?”
Kael turned me over to himself, running his fingers on my chin. My mind relaxed knowing that someone had come to save me from the trouble I made.
But how did he know I was there? I was told that among all the brothers, Kael was the only one who didn't like going to the club.
I nodded gently, avoiding eye contact with him.
“How dare you!”
He shoved me aside, grabbed Gregory’s hand as he was trying to hit me, and punched him in the face.
Blood splashed out of his mouth, spreading across the room. Some people whose mouths were wire opened got blood inside their mouth and the next second, the room was filled with ‘eews’, spitting, and wiping of faces.
That was a funny moment, but the atmosphere wasn't suitable for a laugh.
Whispers broke out among the people, but it was audible enough for us to hear.
“Doesn't Alpha Kael know who that is?”
“Of course he does.”
“Have you forgotten that Alpha Gregory tormented Alpha Aria when she was still in his pack?”
“Serves him right.”
“If I were him, I wouldn't have come here.”
The fourth and the fifth statements got me. What I did served him right, and Kael had just put him in his place.
He grabbed Gregory’s collar, pinning him back on the sofa.
“This is my pack, Aria’s pack. The next time you set foot into this territory, I will personally cut off your limb!”
Jeez! That threat made me shudder. Kael’s tone and flaming eyes were enough to make Gregory know that he wasn't joking.
“Now get the fuck out of here and never return!”
He pulled him up and released his collar.
Gregory was so embarrassed to even utter a word. He only glared at me, picked up his phone, and stormed away, brushing shoulders with Kael.
Eyes followed him as he headed towards the exit door, and they returned their gazes at us after he was out of sight.
‘Now run!’
Lisa shouted. But why would I run? Kael is my brother; he wouldn't scold me. And where is Lana?
I scanned the whole room, but she was nowhere in sight. She wasn't there when Kael was throwing blows at Gregory either.
Aria’s POVOf course, I would have run towards her, gone down on my knees, and cried at her feet to forgive me. But not anymore. I ignored Kael, grabbed one of the mean girls’ collars, and gave her a resounding slap that caused the rest to gasp in shock. No, I didn't stop there; I turned to the other girl and knocked her so hard on her head that she fell butt-flat on the floor. Kael’s jaw dropped, and his countenance immediately changed. He stepped towards me, eyes rolling in wrath to grab my hand, but I didn't let him succeed. I wasn't done with those servants yet; they needed to be taught to stay in their lane.“Listen attentively,” They all turned their attentions to me. “Henceforth, I will not tolerate any form of misconduct from you.”My fingers went from one to another, giving them a stern warning. “Whispering, audible, or behind me, if I figure out that you guys are saying anything stupid about me, you will be fired!”They lowered their heads in shame. “And before I sen
Aria’s POVShe came home in the middle of the night when everyone, except me has fallen asleep. I would have also slept off while waiting for her, but since what I wanted to confront her about was urgent and I couldn't wait, I had to stay awake. The moment she saw me, she froze on the stairs, her hands on her chest as if she was startled to see me right there. The lights were turned off, and I was sitting on the stairs in the dark. So, she must have gotten scared. “You maniac!”She cussed, patting her chest. “What in the world do you think you are doing here? You startled me!”Lana should have fallen off the stairs following the impact of the startle, but she didn't, which means she was never even scared to the brim. I got up, supporting my weight on the railing. I turned on my phone’s torch and flashed it towards her. Lana was drunk, her hair was a mess, and even her dress was so ruffled that one wouldn't have to be told what she did out there. What a shame that after all she d

Aria’s POV“Aria!”My name echoed in the mansion, startling me. I jolted out of bed, clutched my robe, slid my foot in my pink fluffy bunny slippers, and ran out of the room.“Aria!”“Who is making that stupid noise!” Lana yelled, storming out of her room. “This is 6 am for crying out loud. Can't someone have peace in this house?” She hissed loudly and slammed her door shut.“What did you do now, Aria? Go take care of things so I will have a peaceful sleep.”What a lazy girl. She went to bed early the previous day and wasn't done sleeping. Lana should go get a job.“Aria?”Finally, the person who was calling me came up the stairs. It was Kael, and he was fuming in rage. “What did I say about that organization?”Oh, that? He was screaming my name all around because of that? “Didn't I warn you not to think about it anymore?”“What is it, Kael?”Damien stepped out of his room, rubbing his eyes. “It is Aria, she went ahead to register the organization she was talking about yesterday.
Aria’s POVNot do what? Kael must be out of his mind. I didn't bring up the topic for them to choose for me; I didn't want their financial support nor did I need it before I could start. I only told them because they are my brothers and would support me with encouraging words. But they wanted to simulate my mental health because our Mum died from that same sickness? They are just nitwits who didn't know what they were doing. Shouldn't they be happy that I was starting a course to save many lives since they couldn't save her life then? Didn't they manage to find the cure for the sickness after she died? What prompted them to do that? Her death of course. Nothing was going to stop me, not even Kael who is the elder. Since I had already put it in my mind, and I was going to do it. I was ready to see their reactions, and whatever they would do to me. “Are you sure this is a good idea?”Nina asked worriedly, hastening behind me as I was walking so fast. She couldn't even catch up with
Aria’s POVEyes met, and the utensils stopped moving. I could see from their actions that I shouldn't have brought up the topic at that moment. “What does that have to do with you, Aria? It isnt like you are eve their biological sister.”Lana scoffed, picking up a fork. For the first time, none of my brothers stepped in for me. They all looked down so that they didn't even care to shush Lana u. “You can do better than this, Aria. And thanks to you, our appetite is now ruined.”“I wasn't talking to you, Lana. And your opinion isn't needed. Can you wait until your name is called in a conversation before you open that trash of a mouth?”“What!” She fumed. “Are you nuts? Don't you ever send an insult my way again unless you want to see the bad side of me!”What bad side of hers hadnt i seen? “Do not insult me either,”I snapped and took my attention away from her. Thanks to me, the vibrant mood in the dining area had been tampered with. If I knew, I wouldn't have brought up the topic
