"There has been an attack. There will be an urgent meeting in the next 30 minutes," I mid-linked Tristan and Beta Felix.

The question kept lingering in my thoughts: why was the rogue's body found at the Lynx River? Who is responsible for the killing? I had called Tristan my gamma and Beta Felix my beta, along with other council members. I didn't just want to make a rash decision.

I sat at the head seat in the conference room, my back resting on the chair and a finger on my chin. It was my duty to keep my pack safe. Beta Felix walked in the same way with Tristan and other members of the council.
