Zade's POV

“Oh my goodness! Lenora, I've missed you.” My mother cooed as soon as we stepped inside the house. She pulled Lenora into her arms and wrapped her in a tight embrace.

A smile crept its way to Lenora's face as she returned the hug. “I've missed you too, mother.” She said, her words muffled against my mother's shoulders.

“I thought I wouldn't see you again,” My mother said as soon as they pulled away from the hug. She leaned down and placed a soft kiss on Lenora's cheeks.

“Of course not mother.” She said, her face beaming with smiles. “I've missed you.”

“You have no idea how much I've missed you.” My mother said as she hugged her again.

“What about me? Didn't you miss me?” I chirped in, but my mother rolled her eyes.

“Don't be such a big baby, Zade.” She hissed before turning to face Lenora. “Come with me. I have some things to show you.” My mother said as she took Lenora's hands in hers and led her away.
