Aurora
It had been over a month, and I had yet to have any deep conversation with Darius. It felt like we were worlds apart, yet our rooms were just a few inches away from each other. I grew tired of connecting with him. But it all was to no avail. I resigned myself to wait till he was ready for me. Alpha Darius was widely known not to open up to people easily, so I will bide my time and wait till the perfect moment when he can no longer ignore me. “He’s my second mate, I know he will come to me,” I muttered to myself. I sat down deep in my thoughts till I was tapped on the shoulders. “Are you alright, Aurora?” I turned around to view the tall man in his early twenties standing behind me. He wore a waistcoat, which gave me a dignified look. I squinted my eyes and saw it was Cameron. Darius’s Beta. “Sniff…I’m fine, Ser.” I replied calmly. I was oblivious to how much time had passed for the day. As I sat in the corridors of the palace. Cameron sat down beside me. “You don’t have to be depressed. I know my Alpha Darius can be a bit hard to read, but I assure you he will come around soon enough. Meanwhile, you can use this time to get to know our norms and customs of the pack. It will help you adapt quickly and who knows….” Cameron winked mischievously at me. I huffed at his reaction because I knew exactly what he was referring to. Me fully accepted by the pack will gain the admiration and respect from all, including Darius. I took his advice to heart and strolled around the kingdom. I quietly snuck out when the palace guards weren’t looking to get a more realistic understanding of the pack. The remaining pack of wolves will treat me differently if I roam around with the palace warriors beside me. “If I’m to learn more about their culture, I have to interact with others personally.” I thought to myself. I walked around for several hours around the town. However, as I moved around, I kept having this gut feeling like I was being watched like prey. It sent shivers all over my body. But, anytime I turned around to meet the direction of the gaze, I saw no one. I tightened the grip of the scarf wrapped around my shoulders as I continued my tour around the town. It wasn’t long before I found myself in an isolated alley. I must have taken a turn too many and was too embarrassed to ask for directions. “How am I supposed to get back to the palace?” I asked myself. I finally decided to ask for directions back to the palace, but there was no one in sight. My breath was caught in my throat as night was fast approaching. A wave of panic washed over me. “Which way should I choose?” I pondered to myself. I randomly chose a path to move forward, when suddenly some burly men merged around me. “Hey little girl, what are you doing so far away from the palace? You have made our job much easier.” One of them sneered at me. They looked at me lewdly, which made me so uncomfortable. I tried to summon up the courage and address them. “I..dunno what you’re talking about. But I think you have the wrong person.” I snapped back, trying to brush off any form of physical touch from any of the men. “Aren’t you Aurora from the Moonfall pack. The omega girl is supposed to be a breeder?” One of the men asked with a sinister smile on his face. They slowly advanced nearer to me, closing all possible exits. I wiped the sweat beaded on my forehead as I kept turning around, making sure none of them sneaked up to me in surprise. “I’ve done nothing wrong to you men, so please let me go.” I pleaded, yet it fell on deaf ears. The eyes widened as they approached me. “We were sent to silence you, but first…” One of the burly men behind the unzip his trousers. I knew if I didn’t make a move right now, I might not survive the night. Instinctively. I scratched the man closest to me and sprinted off the moment I saw an opening. “Aah!” the burly man I scratched screamed. He signaled the rest of his men to chase me as they turned to their wolf form. “I always enjoy the stubborn ones.” He said as he was the last to transform into his wolf. I tried to run as fast as I could, but they eventually caught up to me and pinned me down. With each man holding my hands and feet spread wide open. The wolf with a scratch stood above me, salivating while looking at me head to toe. Feeling disgusted, I turned my face away in despair. Suddenly, I heard a large gust of wind smack across his face. Within seconds, the rest were all knocked out with a single blow. I slowly opened my eyes and saw a huge black wolf with crimson eyes tear out the limbs of the burly men with its claws, not sparing even the ones who tried to escape. After he subdued all of them, he let out a loud howl sound which could be heard far and wide. This specimen of wolf was one I had never seen before. His entire frame was solid and exquisite. When he was done, he turned to glance at me. At first, I cringed in terror. But after gazing at him closely, even in his wolf form, there was only one person who could transform like this. My second mate is Alpha Darius.Darius“Damon, what’s he doing here?” I asked myself. It wasn’t uncommon for Alphas to visit other kingdoms unannounced. However, due to the last conflict we faced. It has already increased the cold tension between our packs.Meanwhile, I found myself in turmoil. "What were his motives? Could it be about...” I mumbled to myself. Within quick seconds, I slightly loosened my grip of her hands, and she dashed off before I could say anything to her.I watched her retreating figure and took a deep sigh as a beautiful moment was interrupted by none other than Cameron again.“Cameron!” My wolf growled, getting ready to lunge at him. I shot him a dark glare, which took him aback. He immediately knelt on one knee with his head slightly bowed down.“My Alpha, forgive my interruption. I will accept any punishment you give to me.” He said in a serious tone, which took me aback.I stared at him for a few minutes before I managed to restrain my wolf. I took a weary sigh and replied, “You should tie
AuroraLooking at Alpha Darius at the gym brought back all the pain I faced while I was still in Moonfall pack. The constant mind games and manipulations. Constantly treating me like a personal pet.“I know Darius is different, but sometimes he can really push my buttons.” I thought to myself as I saw the smug on his face. He had a cheeky smile which infuriated me more. I didn’t even realize when raven was trying to signal me to greet him. At that moment, I wish I could wipe that smirk off his face. But, I know that was the end of me. I regained my composure and greeted him respectfully. Before he left, he had a puzzled look on his face, like he had no idea what he was saying to me. Suddenly, I felt a tap on my back.“What happened, did something occur between the two of you?” Raven had a befuddled look on her face. I didn’t have the words to express what I felt in my heart. I could only nod my head in denial. Raven could tell there were some things left unsaid but decided to let them
DariusI walked into the palace from my usual morning exercise. As a hybrid Alpha, I don’t really need to do work-outs to keep my self in shape as I genetically have a muscular physique with good metabolisms. I still have to keep my strength and endurance so as not to appear weak to anyone who is willing to challenge me.I was enjoying the humming sounds of the birds in their nests in the trees. It gave me an harminous feeling and relief hearing their beautoful sounds. It really kicked start my day in a happy mood.“Good morning Alpha.” The workers greeted me in unison as I walked past them as I tried to follow the humming sounds.“Thank y'all.” I said with a broad smile on my face. This took them with surprise as they gasped in awe. I wasn’t known to have a warm personality especially among the people who worked in the palace.I tried to remain fair and unbiased while giving them orders. But, I tried not to get too friendly with them. So, when I answered them in a joyful manner they
Aurora“I want you to give yourself to me, not just as my breeder…” I kept pondering on that statement. “What does he mean by that?” I thought to myself. I felt a heaviness in my heart as I continued to think deeper into what he said.“Does he think I’m only with him as his breeder?” I clenched my fists as I continued my sparring session with Raven. Today, she joined me to observe my progress. For the few weeks, I have been training alone to get in shape with my routines, and it has shown in my overall fitness and durability. So I was eager to show all what I have learnt on my own as she has been busy training the new recruits who were formerly rogues into the army. The situation along the border has gotten more intense so everyone is on high alert. Unfortunately, I seemed to be off with my rhtym today. Instantly, I found myself face flat on the ground after a quick manuver she did to me.“You seem distracted today, like you have forgotten all your training. I have gotten report th
AuroraI continued my training drills that she taught me some weeks back. I also noticed my body slowly changing. I no more felt like I was underfed, also during these few weeks I started to feel like myself. My body was toning up nicely, and from the stolen gazes all around the palace. People were also taking notice. “I wonder if he also observed my body changes.” I thought to myself.Just the thought of him alone checking me out made my cheeks turn pink while blushing. I quickly snapped back before anyone caught me. I returned to my stances. I continued practising with my plastic batons, I always came to the gym early, so I felt free stretching my arms and legs in full swings.Suddenly, I threw my arm aggressively in the air. I felt someone catching my baton.“Be careful how you swing it, you might encounter someone.” Darius said in a calm voice. I tried to release my baton from his hand but it proved unsuccessful. This only amused him even more.“I know what I’m doing.” I pouted. W
Damon“Here you are!” I curved my lip slightly. Ember feigned ignorance since the news of the issue with Aurora. I could sense her awkwardness around me as she tiptoed around me.“I dunno what you’re trying to imply, but I only mean that low-life doesn’t deserve all this much attention. It’s best we forget about her once and for all.” Ember said with an unconvincing voice.I looked at her for some few seconds without replying, Finally, I took a weary sigh. “ Aurora means nothing to me, I’ve told you this many times. Clashing with the Silverfang pack right now isn’t beneficial to us.” I told her in a sharp tone. Discussing political objectives wasn’t among the list of things I wished to discuss with her Yet, I found myself doing the exact same thing. My wolf was already exasperated with all the chaos and just wanted us to leave. But, I knew if I stepped out, it will only worsen the entire situation.“I keep saying this to you. YOU’RE MY LUNA!” I snapped. Ember was taken aback, but she
